Gate Hospital Guwahati gave my family the most disappointing and stressful medical experience imaginable. Doctors and nurses were polite, skilled, and supportive, but hospital management was extremely greedy. Billing felt like daylight robbery, forcing families to consider selling land or ancestral property. Unnecessary charges appeared suddenly without explanation, transparency, consent, or basic respect for patients. Private cabin fees and service costs were outrageously high and completely unjustified. The hospital environment was poorly maintained, unhygienic, and unsafe for already vulnerable patients. Reception staff behaved rudely, lacked empathy, and failed to communicate clearly during emergencies. Nurses often appeared careless, busy gossiping, and uninterested in patient comfort or dignity. Basic hygiene items like sanitizers were missing, raising serious concerns about patient safety. ICU and emergency charges were shockingly high, even for just a few hours. Despite paying medicine bills separately, final bills kept increasing without logical clarification. Systems were chaotic, responsibilities unclear, and staff coordination was completely absent throughout treatment. Patients felt ignored while staff focused on internal chatter instead of urgent medical duties. This hospital might survives only because Guwahati lacks better affordable healthcare options nearby. I strongly advise people to avoid Gate Hospital, except when absolutely no alternative exists.

I had a disappointing experience at Gate Hospital. We went because my sister had a small amount of blood in her saliva. Instead of first checking simple causes like gum or dental problems, the hospital immediately ordered several blood tests. This made us feel like unnecessary tests were done without properly examining the basic issue first. Medical tests are expensive, and patients expect doctors to examine the obvious possibilities before sending them for multiple lab tests. The staff should communicate better and explain clearly why each test is needed. I hope the hospital improves transparency and patient care in the future.

Guwahati is in desperate need of good hospitals. This is one such hospital which you wouldn’t want to go but there aren’t many options in this area. Doctors and nurses are good but the management is pathetic. They put unnecessary items in your final bill with zero explanation. The amount they charge in the name of private cabin and services are not justified. Poorly maintained, unhygienic hospital. So not worth for the money they charged us for three days. The two star is just for doctors and the nurses. The hospital doesn’t deserve any. The receptionists are worst

One star is not justified worst hospital in all over India. They only know money no treatment at all. Never visit this hospital.

The worst experience ever with this Medical, my family admitted due to emergency case for 2 hours, they charges more than 20k for few hours........I have proof. Never visit to this medical even in emergency case. U can read public reviews too👈

The worst hospital I have ever seen in my life. Unhygienic pathetic. No cleanness ...faculties are the worst. They do not know how to behave and there is no importance to the patient. They are just busy with each other. Works are not systematic. No one should visit this hospital anymore.

Worst hospital experience I have ever had in my life we had a check up on a minor food poisoning stomach ache and a fever and they charge us around 16k and that's not the worst part it tool us 5 hrs to discharge cause the reception was not there and when we complain about they were giving just excuses and showing anger. Even after all this my friend still had a fever. PLEASE DONT EVER VISIT.
