Amrit Udyan

The park is beautiful. It is well maintained but I was expecting to see more park benches inside. The washroom was a bit dirty though. It is a small park but you'll find peace within the heart of the city. The birdhouses impressed me. I don't know if birds actually live there but it's a good initiative to save the local fauna. There is a small area where kids can play and have fun. The park is at a small hill, so senior citizens can find it slightly uncomfortable to walk around.

If u are a nature lover,if you want to click some fine pictures of yours or u want to spend some quality time with your loved ones then this place is perfect for u....... although the park is not that large but won't disappoint you for sure Entry fees-Rs.30 per adult.

Quite peaceful. Good for children and families including couples. Timings are same but instead of Monday, Friday is closed.

I recently visited Amrit Udyan, Hengrabari, Guwahati on a weekend evening around 5:30 PM, and the experience was truly refreshing. This spacious and well-maintained park offers a peaceful retreat from the city’s bustle, with a serene, silent environment and very minimal crowd—even during weekends. The entry ticket is quite affordable at just Rs. 30 per adult, while it’s free for children below 10 years, senior citizens above 75, and morning walkers who visit before 7:00 AM. The park is very child-friendly, with numerous play and fun activities that kept the little ones entertained throughout our visit. One of the highlights was the innovative initiative by the park management—beautifully designed bird shelters placed thoughtfully on the trees of the park. It’s heartening to see such attention to nature and biodiversity in a public space. There’s also a nice resting area right in front of the entry gate, which is convenient for visitors to relax. The park is spacious, couple-friendly, and even has parking facilities, making it ideal for all age groups. Whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or a partner, Amrit Udyan is a peaceful and enjoyable place to unwind in Guwahati. Highly recommended! Thank you ❤️🤍

Amrit Udyan in Guwahati is a very nice place to relax and spend time with family or friends. It is located in the Hengrabari area and is easy to reach. The park is clean, green, and well maintained. One of the best things about Amrit Udyan is its peaceful environment. There are many trees, open spaces, and walking paths where you can enjoy a calm walk, especially in the evening. The park is family-friendly and has play areas for children, which makes it a popular place for parents. Kids can enjoy swings and open spaces to play safely. The statues and small structures inside the park add to its beauty and cultural touch.

Amrit Udayan is a very beautiful and peaceful place in the heart of Guwahati. It's greenary steals the show. One can spend quality time here enjoying the nature. Bathrooms are well maintained.

Totally a kid’s friendly. The spark is beautiful. Considering a hilltop area, beautiful organised and designed by architecture. You can spend your time with your family members. Your loved ones, your children and there is a children playground. The vehicles parking are there, including there is a food house too, with restroom. Overall, inside the city, like Guwahati, you are having a hilltop area. Park is good enough for people in locality and for people who wants to spend time with nature and also with their kids and families. Although it’s a small area, but it’s good need more infrastructure like this, and need more involvement so that people can enjoy , quality amount of time not by using mobile, but bye feeling nature.

I loved this place. Very good place for children to play and enjoy. Even adult can have a walk around. Special attraction for my grand daughter is climbing wall. She claimed up to the top with ease. Entry fee is only Rs30/ adult and Rs10 for kid. Parking is available
