O' Hen Art Studio

O’Hen Art Studio is a perfect place for people who love art and creativity. It is a much needed getaway in our city Guwahati, especially now, when there aren’t many spaces to spend time meaningfully because of constant construction and chaos. For someone like me, who is always trying to explore creativity, O’Hen Art feels like the right place. I joined the pottery session without any second thoughts and honestly, the person I became after this experience surprised me. I usually chase perfection but pottery taught me that imperfections can be beautiful too. It taught me patience that everything has its own time and pace. Sometimes the clay holds, sometimes it breaks and you start again. And that’s okay. The joy of seeing a piece come together by the end of the day makes every effort worth it. Thank you, O’Hen Art Studio, for creating this space, for giving people like me a place to learn, slow down and create. Wonderful experience. Me and my husband took a one day pottery session (black pottery) and by the end of the session we made small bowls and we were very happy with our little projects. The entire process was very enjoyable and kind of meditative. In today's busy life, I highly recommend people to attend such sessions and rejuvenate the soul. Thanks to Khairul sir for being such a wonderful host and mentor. He was chill, encouraging and calm throughout the entire session and helped us all the way. This was my first time ever to join a pottery workshop and it was one of the best experiences I've had. The mentors there were great. The ambience was perfect for the session and I learned alot more than I expected. They guided us and let us bring in our own creativity to the work. Its a wonderful place to start if anyone aspires to begin their journey with art. I would completely recommend it.

I had a wonderful experience at the pottery class! The instructor was super friendly and instantly made me feel relaxed throughout the entire process. Even as a beginner, I felt completely at ease trying new techniques because of their patient guidance and warm approach. The class was fun, calming, and surprisingly therapeutic.
