The down town School

One of the best schools in Guwahati. It's a day boarding school located in the green outskirts of the City, offering serene atmosphere, congenial for studies. Both my sons Akul and Anadi are studying in the down town school in Grade 7 and are getting top class infrastructure facilities, various sports facilities including swimming, basketball etc. The best part is the education offered here, the educators are very knowledgeable, interactive, caring and supportive to the students. I feel that my sons are getting customized education according to their individual prowess and capabilities. Exposure to various events in both academic or cultural fields both in house and outside the campus is noteworthy. The administration is very vigilant yet very cordial , courtesy the Principal who is always very pro-active and leads the entire team from the front. The Food offered here is very hygienic and health friendly . The support staff is well mannered, disciplined and active. My sons are getting enormous opportunities to learn and showcase their talents , be it in the MUN summits, National level Science exhibitions and competitions , Olympiads or others. Another noteworthy aspect is the training and behaviour of the Staff , the moment one enters the school premises , you are greeted by the cordial security staff and each member you meet on your way will give a smiling welcome to you . I am very happy and content that my sons are getting the best education and an opportunity for the best alround personality development. The fees is a little bit on the higher side but seems to be justified for what the school offers as a whole, the quality of education , the food, the practical lessons of life and discipline, the exposure , One cannot ask for anything more.

In every way, the Down Town School in Guwahati is excelling, particularly in providing children with a wealth of exposure. A very well-structured and effective academic curriculum. Good efforts by all teachers. I am very grateful to all teachers, coordinator and Principal. My son is being groomed very well. We are very happy with The Downtown School. My son, Rayansh Baruah Neog, is growing so well here. The teachers are caring, the environment is positive, and the school truly supports overall development. Grateful to see him enjoy learning every day.

I found the school very very outstanding. Principal Mam is very good, she is very much supportive and cooperative. Teachers as well as staff members are very decent and helpful.The School campus inside and outside is so neat and clean, proper hygiene is maintain. Healthy food is given to students, so that it will help them to develop physically as well as mentally. One thing I like most is that from Nursery to Class 2 there is no examination, which is a good otherwise small students comes under pressure which will affect their mental health. My son is studying in the down town school guwahati for last 2 and 1/2 years. The curriculum is wholesome including both studies and also many extra curricular activities. My son enjoys going to school and doesn't want to miss class. He loves and repects his teachers. The food is his favorite and he tells me everyday what he had in school. Overall it is an excellent school for all round development.

My son is studying in class 8 at The down town school . The teachers are very caring and always encourage students to do their best. Ive seen improvement in my child’s academics and confidence . He enjoys sports and other extracurricular activities too. The down town school provides a caring environment with great teachers and a good balance of academics and activities. My child, Praying Kashyap of Grade 1 has grown in confidence and learning here. She really enjoys her classes and also the other activities imparted in the school. She also relishes the delicious meals provided by the school.
