Amazing food, great experience, warm service. Don't be disuaded by the entrance (like we almost were). The decor is far better than the harsh blue LEDs may indicate. We had - Duck bamboo shoot, Bhanga fish fry, rice. All were made to perfection and extremely delicious. A must-visit in Guwahati!

An excellent restaurant with a good ambience. A lot of bamboo decorative art works. Soothing classical music. A restaurant serving typical local cuisine. Service was cordial and friendly. The food was excellent. The vegetables and fish were really good. The price was reasonable. I recommend it for any tourist visiting Guwahati.

Very unprofessional staff, dirty ambience. Took them more than an hour to serve noodles, rude staff. Keeps on making customers wait a lot although the order is as simple as a plate of veg noodles. Food tastes bad and bland as well. Overpriced .

Good food esp thalis but very slow service. Few food items can be improved. The soup are worth trying. The oriental food items are also good. Chicken, mutton, pork fish and duck all are in the menu. Duck items take lot longer. Overall not bad. Should improve on the waiting time.

Just an overrated restaurant. Exorbitant prices at an equally horrendous food being provided. Order chicken thali. Khorika chicken offered were all cold. Neither dal served had any taste either. Looking at their reviews, it seemed they were having an off - day on the day I visited. But based upon my experience, quality of food being served do not at all justify the price. Would not recommend for a second visit.

An authentic Assamese cuisine destination at Guwahati. Located by roadside in Panjabari at a strolling distance from Sankardev Kalakshetra, this place is perfect for meals along with a variety of fish and meat options. It's a family restaurant. The portions are good enough to be shared. Food and water are served in bronze utensils. Food is less spicy. Easily visible from traffic. No additional parking lot. The complimentary clear soup at the very beginning is a great welcoming gesture.

On the last day of our hectic Assam trip, my partner and I were almost out of our breath – by both our work and food. Therefore, we wanted to order something exceptionally light for dinner the day before yesterday (Sunday – June 29, 2025). We specifically searched for Aloo Pitika and stumbled upon this eatery. We ordered one (1) plate of Plain Rice, one (1) Aloo Pitika, and one (1) plate of Plain Dal. The food was fantabulous, and we enjoyed it to the core. We shall definitely order from this place during our future trips to Guwahati!

Worst food I have ever tasted. Excessively over priced. Veg thali was disaster with no taste. I ordered chicken dry fry and they gave onion wet fry instead. I feed more chicken to my cats in one meal compared to the chicken pieces there. The whole restaurant was empty. Complete waste of money and torture to the taste buds.
