Naga Home Food - Authentic Naga Cuisine

We tried this Naga restaurant while being in Guwahati and it was amazing. I wish I could have shown you a picture of the food but it was gone before I could take a picture. The pork with the fresh bamboo shoots is really good but the smoked pork with dried bamboo shoots is just amazing. Portions are big and the staff is really friendly. But…..😉 unfortunately they don’t serve Axone. I understand the point of the smell and that not everyone likes it. I just wanted to mention it. Still it is a place I can recommend for sure

A lovely place with amazing people. We had a wonderful experience, the food was fresh, tasty and full of FLAVORS. Not only the dish was well prepared but was served nicely with so much love. The ambience is very pleasant with traditional decor touch. Highly recommend for Naga food cuisine in Guwahati.

As a foodie and a seeker of refined experiences, I look for service attitude and soft skills in places, more than the food they serve. This place wins in every methodology I have. Space: Minimilastic decor, simplistic, non-restaurant(y) vibe. Aired well with AC and fans. 10/10. Order taken, served, checked for "anything else needed" and how are you finding the food: all with a smile, and corteous demeanour. The owner himslef and the other staff to were dressed with headcaps. Food: i took a veg thaali for 100/-, that was very enriching with daal( had an extra bowl like soup) , aalu sabzi, steamed cabbage( this was a revelation!) and a chutney that would be appreciated by those liking chilly. Served with onoion , lemons in ample quantity. Bisleri Water was given at the usual cost, with options of half and one litre. Paid by QR and I appreciate that I was asked if I needed a bill copy. Truly, home like.

It is the best place to dine for those who want to taste authentic Naga home food and especially boiled cuisine. Stayed the whole week in Guwahati for treatment and had the healthy lunch and dinner everytime. Must visit place in Guwahati.

Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and the taste of everything I had was amazing. You can really feel the love and care put into the cooking.
