Such a horrible experience at this Salon. Might be one of the worst experiences I had. I asked the hair dresser to get coloured my hair as shown in the 1st and 2nd photos. I talked to him quite a while explaining him the colour choice and what he did was horrible, literally horrible. Neither texture nor shade nothing match with the colour I wanted. I repeated number of times I wanted chocolate brown and they turn the shade completely blonde and so uneven bleach he did. At some places, it literally look like golden fur. Who would say that it’s balayage technique. If you don’t know the technique straight forwardly say that you don’t know. You should not hurt customer expectations as such. The 1st and 2nd photos were for reference and the 3rd and 4th photos are what they did. Never expected this from such a salon and that too paying Rs7200.

I would not recommend this place based on my experience. Their service is very poor. I asked for a single uniform orange hair colour, but instead they coloured my hair green, which was completely unexpected. Even after clearly telling the staff multiple times that I did not want two colours, she kept insisting and eventually did exactly what I had refused. The result looked green and shiny yellow under the light. They ruined my hair. There was no apology; instead, the staff was rude and defensive. They also charge very high prices, which are not worth the service at all.

Had an 11 AM appointment but my service started at 12 PM because only the receptionist was present. Before starting, I was pulled into a room and aggressively pushed to buy a membership package despite repeatedly saying I only wanted that day’s service. Even my parents were dragged into the sales pitch - extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. During the treatment, the staff had zero sense of time. I was left with a hair mask on for over an hour while the staff casually did her own makeup and hair. I kept telling them I was in a hurry, yet I was abandoned multiple times. The salon wasn’t even busy. A 3-hour service dragged on till almost 4 PM purely due to negligence and poor management. The repeated tea/coffee offers felt like damage control, not courtesy. If you value your time or dislike pushy sales tactics, avoid this place.

I had a very disappointing experience at this salon.Despite clearly explaining my preferences, I was asked to cut my hair short, and I was told that the price would be reduced if I agreed. However, after the service was completed, not only was the result completely different from what I expected, but I was also charged extra instead of receiving the promised reduction. This felt very misleading and unprofessional. The staff did not pay attention to my concerns, and overall the experience was extremely unsatisfactory. I would not recommend this place based on my visit.

This was my first visit to Athenian Salon, Zoo Road, and I’m beyond impressed! I booked an appointment for a clean-up and haircut, and the entire experience was seamless. The staff was very polite and made me feel comfortable right away. The beautician explained the facial steps clearly and used products that suited my sensitive skin really well. My skin felt so soft and fresh afterward! The hairstylist also did a great job — he really listened to what I wanted and gave me a cut that suits my face perfectly. I also loved how hygienic everything was — towels, tools, and rooms were all sanitized. I’ve already booked my next appointment! Highly recommended for anyone visiting for the first time.

I’m honestly disappointed and quite frustrated with my last visit to your salon on 5th August. I’ve been there 4–5 times before and had decent experiences, but this time was completely different. I went for a simple haircut, yet it was done so badly that I regret coming in. On top of that, it took over 1 hour and 30 minutes for something that should be quick and straightforward. For a place that claims to have professional barbers, I can’t understand how I ended up with such a poor result. And honestly, ₹599 for a normal haircut of this quality is unreasonable. If you want to keep your customers, you need to improve both the skill and the value for money.
