Had my first experience at Truefitt & Hill Guwahati today and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. This place truly lives up to its reputation as a luxury grooming destination for men. I went for the Royal Haircut, and it was an absolutely awesome experience. The barber was incredibly skilled, taking a lot of care with every detail. It's more than just a haircut—it's a ritual that includes a relaxing head massage and shampoo. The precision and attention made me feel completely pampered. I also had a facial, which was another highlight. The service is formally known as a Royal Facial, and it was fantastic. My skin feels fresh, clean, and looks noticeably brighter after the treatment. The products they used were top-notch and felt great on my skin. The ambiance of the salon on GS Road is a major plus. It's a peaceful, elegant space with a classic British feel, a welcome escape from the city. The staff is professional, and the hygiene standards are impeccable. While it's a premium experience, the quality of the service and the atmosphere make it well worth the price.

Despite their closing time, accepted my appointment. I took a Royal Suite haircut and beard service. What an experience! I personally like the beard service. Never seen such attention to detail in Guwahati. Hairdresser Mr. Tasleen provided top notch service. Most recommended if you take your grooming seriously.

I was a member at Truefit & Hills, Guwahati for a year, and while a few experiences were good, overall the service didn’t live up to what was promised. The Royal Room was denied several times even after booking 2–3 days in advance, and many times I was told on the day itself that it’s not available. This kind of inconsistency feels unfair, especially when it’s part of the membership commitment. There were also serious lapses in hygiene and professionalism towels often had a bad smell, the AC rarely worked properly, and there’s no proper power backup. On one occasion, I was even given an expired product for use, which is completely unacceptable for a premium salon brand. I also tried to purchase a Coconut Shampoo which was initially priced at ₹2,400 with a member discount. Despite following up for nearly two weeks, the product was never arranged. Later, when I casually asked again in the store, I was told the price was ₹3,000+. This kind of inconsistency in communication clearly shows a lack of coordination among the staff. That said, Nihal, Rosy, and Arman (before he left) were excellent polite, skilled, and professional. They genuinely tried to make the experience better whenever I visited. Overall, the staff are good, but the management, coordination, and hygiene standards need serious improvement. With better professionalism and consistency, this place could truly match the luxury it claims to represent.

The experience is elevated with a soothing head wash and a relaxing massage that follow the haircut. The staff are exceptionally well-mannered, treating you more like an esteemed guest than just a customer. You're welcomed with water upon arrival, and offered a beverage of your choice during the session, adding to the overall comfort. My haircut was done by Nihaal, a highly skilled professional and a genuinely warm person. His expertise and attention to detail made the entire session smooth and enjoyable. If you're someone who values quality and doesn't mind spending a little extra for a royal grooming experience, I would highly recommend Truefitt & Hill.

For a 2400 haircut, I am just so disappointed that I cannot even look at my partner’s face without regretting the decision to drag him to this place. The worst part was when I asked the lad who cut his hair to treat my partner’s problem area, he simply dismissed. The last time my partner got a haircut was from Mr Hasnain Ali and we were immediately hooked. We thought we finally found a place that we could trust eyes closed. But to our sheer misfortune we heard Truefit and hill had to let him go. We still decided to give it a go as we expected a brand like TrueFit and Hill would be at least consistent with its quality and expertise but oh boy were we wrong! Trust me when I say this, our hairstylist from the salon Rhyz Beltola does a better haircut for 300. This is one last bad decision before the year ended. You would be wrong if you thought money could buy you quality. Going forward with a great lesson learnt.
