We rented a scooter from Baruah Bike Rentals for 3 days and had a great experience. The vehicle was in excellent condition, clean, and gave good mileage. Had a really disappointing experience here. When I rented a scooty for a day, the staff member was polite and even told me I could return it a few hours late if needed, which made me feel good about their customer service. But the next day, exactly at the time I had picked it up around 4:30 PM I got a call from the owner insisting I return it immediately because they follow a strict 24-hour rule. Since I was at work, I couldn't get the scooty back asap, I still ended up being charged a late fee which i paid without saying anything. Today again, when I called about renting a scooty for a day to Shillong, I was told they charge extra after every 150 km plus the rental charge, which felt really strange because I’ve rented scootys all over India as a solo traveler and never faced this kind of system. The staff and the owner clearly operate very differently, so plan your trip carefully. Also, make sure to take a full video of the scooty before and after returning it.

Skip the big rental platforms. Local bike renters in Guwahati like Baruah gave me a great machine, cheaper rates, minimal deposit, and no drama. Simple, smooth, and rider-friendly. Highly recommended.

We rented two scooters from this place , both were in very poor condition. Unfortunately, we had no other options, so we had to take them. On top of that, the owner’s behavior was extremely rude. If you’re coming here because of the 4.8-star reviews, think twice. The negative reviews are genuine, and the owner argues with those who post them just to protect his image. I’d strongly suggest avoiding this place for renting. And I also know he will come here to argue with me, let's see.

I had booked two scooty for 6 days, but the owner’s behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. Very arrogant attitude, no sense of customer service or respect. Totally disappointed with the experience. Would not recommend this rental service to anyone. Go another service.
