We had an amazing 2 nights 3 days trip to meghalaya. We went to Kongthong and Mawphanlur. The routes were well planned by the team and the vehicle was in excellent condition with all necessities for camping. The whole staff had an amazing cooperation and were always helpful in case of any trouble. Thank you so much Camping Co. for making this trip really wonderful.

We had the most epic one week Meghalaya trip ever thanks to Camping Co. and their wonderful concept. Overlanding was a new way for us to travel and we definitely would not have been able to experience the state the way we did if we had travelled any other way. Only wish we had been able to extend our trip for longer, but were still lucky that we managed to get an available camper at fairly short notice (think we booked only a month before the trip). Coming to the actual journey- the camper (a Tata Xenon) was really fun for us to drive; the highways in Meghalaya are wide and well maintained for the most part. The vehicle was given to us in a very clean condition- we were pleasantly surprised to find a charging port inside, which was a thoughtful touch by the Camping Co team- you can charge two devices while driving. The vehicle was also air conditioned. We carried our own speakers as Camping Co had advised. Our circuit was as follows: Guwahati- Nongkhnum Island- Cherrapunji- Nongriat- Wahkhen- Umiam lake. All the locations were picturesque and the drives were beautiful. It was raining for a lot of our trip, so perhaps for areas such as Nongkhnum Island, a 4 wheel drive might have helped better when we got onto slushy muddy paths (the camper is a 2 wheel drive). The rooftop tent is warm and of great quality, and very easy to set up and dismantle once you have the hang of it (Camping Co will send you a video as to how you can do this). We had great fun camping in the tent- camping in the rain is not as fun though; the tent is waterproof but you are bound to get wet while trying to climb in and out of it. However, this all added to the experience. The campsites are okay; but one does not choose an overlanding trip for luxury anyway. Prepare for cold water bucket baths (can be brain numbing in the winter!). We have cut one star because our camper had a puncture on the way to Cherrapunji- when we managed to change to the spare with great difficulty (recruiting some local help), the spare tyre was flat! This was a huge bother and we lost most of the next day trying to get the tyre fixed, after driving to our resort that evening in the dark and rain on a flat tyre! However, Camping Co's response was appreciated- they sincerely apologized, have assured us that this will not happen again to any of their guests, of course reimbursed us for the tyre fixing costs and also gave us a free dinner voucher for one of the nights of our stay. Another point to note- if you are opting to drop the camper off at the airport on your back way, ensure you budget for enough time, just in case. Do reach the airport early. Thanks to Anan for helping us throughout the journey and for coordinating with us before we started the trip. And to Harsh for acknowledging our complaint about the spare tyre and taking whatever immediate action he could. Will definitely recommend Camping Co as the most unique experience to anyone looking to explore the Northeast. Hope to travel with them again in future!

This was our first time with Camping Co and also in North East; we couldn't have asked for a better experience than travelling in a car with a mounted tent. Not just that, right from providing a detailed circuit recommendation to point of contacts for tour guides & bookings, Anan was constantly in touch to help us through; so its not just about hiring a vehicle, but they ensure you have a great overall experience, which i felt was really unique. Even when we were misdirected by google maps and had tyre problem, these guys were in constant touch to resolve it at an immediate notice. North east is a safe and clean place with ample lot of campsites, and location which provides you a scenic view. If this is your first time exploring North East and would love an adventure and convenience to park and camp wherever you like, look no further than Camping Co. I definitely look forward to travelling with them again.

This is a great way to explore the North East of India. Camping Co provides high quality overlanding vehicles (SUVs with roof-mounted tents) and all additional camping gear you may need. They also make customised itineraries for you based on your preferences. I spent 4 days across various parts of Meghalaya and and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I highly recommended Camping Co!

Took camper co's camper (Tata xenon) for a trip of 4 days To Meghalaya, It was an awesome experience. we felt the actual feel of camping as you have to do everything by yourself. The campsites were also amazing with some spectacular views, especially nongkhnum river island. people who are planning to visit the north eastern states should definitely try camping co, it's like having solitude.

The car itself was good but we have booked some extras like the camping kit which was all super dirty. Our tent broke in the middle of our trip and you could assume it was recently not properly fixed cause we found it with aluminium shaves. We have had to fix the tent with ropes by ourselves otherwise we couldn’t continue with our trip and they have never considered this in terms of the deposit. Apart from those, the back tyres were very worn off and the car dashboard was displaying several warnings, the wind screen wipers’ liquid was empty and tyre pressure were all over the place at the pick up time. They have also forgotten one more extra chair we have ordered so we have had to go to their office as soon as we picked up the car which led us to spend 2 hours in a traffic jam. When we were dropping off the car in the airport, the guy arrived more than an hour late. Good feedback was the general support they were giving us in terms of homestays, campsites and local guides along our trip.

A great experience that i am curious so less people know about. A brilliant team that curates some really amazing experiences for you, I absolutely recommend Camping Co if you want to go off the beaten path and enjoy some breathtaking vistas in their Camp Kitted adventure ready 4x4 vehicles. I booked a Thar with a camp and went to Cherapunjee with my wife and the support i got from them was commendable. The vehicle was great, the camp was effortless to fit and close and the best part id the tie-up's they have with Resorts (across the NE) that lets you camp in peace (secured). 5 stars to the team and their efforts. Cheers!

We had taken their Zenon 2x4 for our trip across Meghalaya in December. Anand from Camping Co was a big help in deciding our route and suggesting stops to us. The car was in good condition. David from the operations team briefs you almost about everything you need to know. The entire trip was quite enjoyable. On thing: the sleeping bags given were for about 15 degrees (and not 5 degrees as was the temperature). We had to wear quite a bit of layers to stay warm in the night. The photo is when we were at Loomkyntoor.
