Mast Biryani

To be honest, you will like their Biryani. But biggest disappointment was the chicken pieces. In the menu, it's written Biryani with a whole run/ breast. But in practical they will give you two small pieces citing difficulty in cooking a whole run. My advice is that please update your menu if it's not working out. But have to acknowledge the quality and taste of their Biryani. It's one of the best in Guwahati.

I’m very disappointed with my experience ordering Boneless Biryani from Mast Biryani. The menu clearly mentioned that it would include 4 boneless chicken cubes and 2 eggs, but what I received was completely different. The biryani had only tiny bits of chicken, not proper cubes, and there were no eggs at all. To make things worse, I even found a bone in the biryani, which is unacceptable for something advertised as boneless. This felt misleading and careless. If the menu promises certain items, the restaurant should deliver exactly that. Very disappointing experience. If you don’t want to ruin your dining experience, it’s better not to come here.

Love the biryanis here! Mast biryani has always been my favourite, but physically went there for the first time with my family and had Kolkata Chicken Biryani and Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani. I must say, it tastes better when you have biryani at the very same time with that beautiful and drooling raita! My only complaint against this place would be their washroom. The washroom is not cleaned well which is quite unhygienic. And also this place has an issue with the parking (which anyway can't be solved in a place like Guwahati🥲). Overall, service, food, staff' behaviour, everything is top notch. A must visit!

I had ordered a full size biryani but got a quarter size. At that price I should have gone for Aminia biryani at least they don’t thug customers. Don’t fall for the hype of this restaurant.

Extremely disappointing experience. The prices are unreasonably high compared to the quality and portion size. The chicken pieces in the biryani were very small and disappointing. The dishes and plates served were dirty, which is unacceptable. There was no proper attention from the waiter, and the service felt careless throughout. Overall, the food, hygiene, and service were all below standard. I would not recommend this place.

One of the Best Biryanis in Town! I visited Mast Biryani after Durga Puja, and as expected it was fully crowded. Even in such a rush, the staff managed everything very smoothly. I ordered Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani and Chicken Kebab Biryani (two half portions), and the first bite itself made me go “wow!” The taste was incredible, the quantity just right, the chicken perfectly cooked, and the price absolutely worth it. What impressed me most is that despite the heavy rush, they did not compromise on quality or flavor. The only drawback was that the AC was not working, which made the atmosphere a bit uncomfortable. Still, if I ever crave biryani again, Mast Biryani will be my first choice. Highly recommended!
