Deserves 0 star! Went to this restaurant today for the first time after hearing it from everyone. Ordered Kolkata Chicken Biryani. First of all, the staffs were very rude while taking orders and took quite some time to serve the food. Now coming to the food quality— I have attached the photo of the chicken they served in the Biryani. The chicken was absolutely inedible, being hard, cold and full black from inside. It was stale and spoiled chicken which can be very well understood. When brought into the attention of the staff, they kept on lying about the "freshness" of the chicken and said that was blood mark! They constantly tried covering up the entire thing. When asked about the manager (who was not even in the shop),he didn't do anything either. This was the first and the last time I visit this restaurant and will also request people to see the reviews before going to this place. In short: WORST EXPERIENCE! 👎👎👎

"DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE" If hell served biryani, it would be here. From the very moment we entered, the place reeked literally. A foul smell hit us at the door, and instead of being welcomed, we had to squeeze our way through a herd of Swiggy and Zomato delivery guys blocking the entrance like bodyguards of misery. The AC? Dead. The tables? Filthy. And the staff? A masterclass in rudeness and incompetence. It took multiple reminders just to get our table cleaned, and the attitude they gave us made it feel like we were disturbing their nap. We placed our order at 8:40 pm-starters, biryani, and coke. What followed was an exercise in patience and regret. One hour and ten minutes later (after politely asking the waiter at least eight times), we finally got our “starter,” not because they cared, but because we were about to walk out. The chicken lollipop they forced us to stay for was a disgrace food coloring and cheap sauce slathered on lifeless meat. That was the worst chicken lollipop I ever had.🤮 The bias towards “regulars” was shameless. They got served immediately while the rest of us, the unfortunate outsiders, sat ignored like background furniture. Even when the waiter bothered to answer, he wouldn’t make eye contact, as if basic courtesy was too heavy a burden. And then after waiting for another 20 minutes came the biryani. Or should I say, the nightmare dressed as food. We ordered Makhani Chicken Biryani, which elsewhere is delicious, but here? A soulless, oily abomination that tasted like regret and bad decisions. It's my second favorite after Chicken 65 biryani but here they literally puked all over. To make matters worse, we had to wait another 10 minutes for raita, and even simple requests like spoons and tissues vanished into the black hole of staff incompetence. The waiters are very unprofessional and novice. They don't know how to talk or take orders. Only one waiter was smart. One kept running away from people. One was not able to understand and also he forgets everything we ask him to bring, we had to ask for everything twice or more. And it wasn’t just us. A couple who came even before we did waited for over an hour and a half without food, eventually walking out in frustration. That was probably the smartest thing anyone did in that restaurant. In short, this Mast Biryani isn’t just bad, it’s insulting. Insulting to food, to customers, and to the word “biryani” itself. They should either replace every single staff member, hire a real chef, and learn the basics of hospitality, or do the world a favor and shut down.

Its the place where i often go or order their biryanis..I will recommend this place for kolkata biryani..I just love how it taste so perfect. We ordered one egg dum biryani,1/2 chicken kolkata dum biryani which is perfect for two but i think they can give atleast two potatoes in it..and one chicken wings which was too juicy I loved it and lastly rabri which was also quiet good.

I nice spot in Guwahati center. Of course I went for veg Biryany veg mix. Not bad but not the best Biryani in the city. The location is at the first floor with a good view on Assam trunk road.

Had dinner at Mast Biryani with friends. I went for the Paneer Kofta Biryani while my friends enjoyed the Chicken Dum Biryani and a few other dishes — all were tasty, and the ambience was pleasant. However, the experience felt a bit incomplete due to the lack of welcoming warmth from the staff. With better hospitality, this place could truly shine.

As the name suggests overall Mast Biryani is a Must Have Biryani place. I have ordered from here before but never visited the Adabari outlet personally. I would say that the biryanis I have tried so far have not disappointed me considering the taste compared to the price and the quantity they provide. But one thing they can definitely improve is their staff management. When we were sitting there was nobody in our visibility range to whom we could talk about our order. Plus later when we were having our dinner 2 kids randomly entered the restaurant and started begging in front of us. They can definitely improve on these aspects. Otherwise great food with good views! 👌 P.S.- Mutton options are not usually available

The food is too sweet, the place is also quite small and very noisy. The sound system is horrible and they play very noisy songs. The seating cushions are shittiest cushions very unconditional. There's only 1 waiter serving the food and he's also quite rude, he's not even listening to the customers. Very time taking. Overall it was a very bad experience. Go to this place only if you want to ruin your day

If you go with the mindset to eat the typical biryani then you might not like it, but if you go thinking that you'll try fusion then you should surely try this place. And it's extremely affordable, plus the amount they give is huge. A half plate biryani is enough for one person who eats a lot.
