I've tried their Dilli aslam butter chicken, afghani chicken biryani, vegetable pulao, rumali roti and afghani paneer. Everything tasted good except Dilli aslam butter chicken. Too much butter. They should atleast tell the customer that it will consist only butter as gravy and nothing else. We didn't knew about the dish so ordered and end up wasting it and the chicken pieces were also bland with no flavour and hard to chew. But the best among all the dishes I've tried is the biryani. Probably the best in town.

This looks like a delicious meal! The Kolkata Biryani, with its perfectly spiced rice, tender chicken, and essential egg, sounds like a true delight. And the creamy, melt-in-your-mouth Malai Seekh Kababs sound like the perfect accompaniment. A truly exceptional feast indeed...had an amazing experience 👏

The afghani chicken kebab was too good and the afghani roll also was awesome. I would love to visit this place again and again

I absolutely loved the biryani at Pakkhtun Biryani. The flavors were spot on, the rice had a wonderful aroma, and the chicken pieces were soft and flavorful. The service was quick, the staff was polite, and the food is definitely worth the price. One of the best biryani places in town

Extremely disappointed with Pakkhtun Biriyani!! Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable! I ordered biryani from them via Zomato with high expectations after being fooled by their aggressive marketing through local influencers and supposedly “good” reviews. But what I received instead was pure trash. This was hands down the worst biryani I have ever had. The taste was horrible. The raita was overly tangy and loaded with black salt, which clearly screamed NOT FRESH. The biryani itself had a weird, unpleasant smell, the kind you’d expect from a cheap roadside stall, except this one charged a premium price. Quality-wise, this was rock bottom. And then comes the most shocking part— THE PACKAGING. NO seal, NO restaurant tag, hence I doubted. Neither the outer packet nor the biryani box was sealed. This is basic food safety, not an optional luxury. It was so unhygienic that I was genuinely hesitant to even taste the food. Unfortunately, I did and yuck, oh yuck, chiii. ₹590 straight into the gutter. When I raised the issue with Zomato, all they did was throw a discount coupon at me. So I decided to contact the restaurant directly, hoping for some accountability. Big mistake. The level of unprofessionalism here is shocking. They listened to my complaint, asked for pictures on WhatsApp, and then completely ghosted me. No response. No apology. No callback. Nothing. This brand pretends to be big and trustworthy, but the reality is pathetic. FAKE hype, FAKE reputation, and ZERO respect for customers. I am writing this review so other customers get aware of this before wasting their money and risking their health. If you value hygiene, quality, or basic customer service, STAY AWAY from PAKKHTUN BIRIYANI.
