The Rajbari

i really like this resturant. we went for lunch. ordered mutton kasha, parota, ghee bhat and begun bhaji. all the items were so delicious. mutton was perfectly cooked. they served ghee in extra bowl with rice. quantity was adequate according to the price. ambience was so good. they were playing rabindra sangeet and other soothing songs. service was good as well. will surely visit again. but due to the ongoing construction in the road, it was troublesome for us to reach there as they were so much dust and congestion. but i liked everything of restuarant. definitely will visit soon.

If you truly crave to try an authentic Bengali cuisine then you must visit this place. This place offers traditional Bengali dishes along with a vide range of starters and beverages. Great place to visit with your family and friends too, you'll love the vibe.

The food was okay ,ambience was beautiful But the main thing ,the service was worst If we are paying such amount of money for the food and also the service charges We expect atleast good or average service in return. They just welcomes the customers as much as possible just to profit themself But gives zero service They dont even respond properly Your orders are not given properly on the table Even after calling for multiple times they just come and asks what we want but dont provide it Even water and glass for drinking it is not given on time ,after asking for so many times. We ordered what they said ,their special food for the day which was Fish paturi and in menu it says 2pc we ordered it for two of us But when we got the order it had only 1 pc ,when asked about it They said ,it is beacuse the size of the piece is bigger So if it is big in size does it makes it 2pcs? And when we asked for it because we were two people on the table,they took the one which was already provided ,during the time we when we started our food What if we had not ordered anything else with that How it would have possible to do the lunch at that time? Worst service Not at all expected this from such a well known The Rajbari place

Very average thaali and dish experience for the price. The dishes weren’t very tasty & the only highlights were the daal and the dhokar daalna. And their terms of service wasn’t that great either. Went to eat on an occasion with the family, ordered Bangaliyana Thali and when asked for just an extra papad or a chop, it was refused as they said they don’t give anything extra except rice and dal. How do you justify not giving out an extra papad in a 700 rupees thali? Even thalis of 100 give everything extra (sometimes even the non-veg/main dish). Would advise to select the other options like O Maago or others…they’re far better.

Preparation and atmosphere was awesome. Enjoyed the meal here. Homely taste.

Visited this restaurant recently and while the ambiance was nice, the food felt a bit too spicy for my taste, especially being Assamese and usually preferring milder flavors. I had also mentioned at the time of welcome that it was my friend’s birthday, but no special attention was given to mark the occasion. A small gesture—like a bento cake, a fresh flower, or even a warm birthday wish—would have added that extra touch and made the celebration feel more special. We had chosen this place for a memorable day, and such gestures go a long way in creating lasting impressions.

Elish bhapa is something which takes me to Bengali Restaurant and the rajbari is a new find in the town. Guys have managed to start and manage the place well and along with the ambience, service is excellent. Personal attention from each and every young and very energetic staff member. Let me add the most important part.. Parking.. I visited the place on a Sunday and in the basement found ample space to park my car. However, not sure on a weekday as the building also has a branch of HDFC Bank. Would like to add, if you are ordering for thali, they dont allow you to share thali. We were 3 of us and ordered 3 veg thali which we found little more than we could actually eat. For 3, 2 veg thali and ala carte for non veg of choice would have been perfect.. any which ways, no regret. Bill for 3, along with some starter and drinks was around Rs 3K plus. Overall a good experience.. however, they can arrange for fresh flowers in the welcome thali .. or rather avoid the welcoming part completely.. 😊 found it embarrassing.. All the best to the team 👍

A1 look , new concept of sitting arrangements , food is also good , however quantity is less in Thali . I took thali as parcel, self pick-up, dal was missing and quantity is very less for single person. Test is good and appricate as Bengali cousin.
