I’ve had one of the worst experiences with HDFC Bank, especially the Six mile branch. I applied for a home loan last year and even had to apply a second time because the staff kept insisting it would be done within a week. It’s been months and nothing has moved. No one answers calls or messages. one of the personal banker, Udipta, made us open a new account for no valid reason and caused unnecessary delays. The loan officer, Debasish Gogoi, spoke to us in a way that felt insulting, and his junior, Nayan Sharma, was openly rude. Every time we submitted documents, they asked for more. It felt endless and completely unprofessional. After all this wasted time and energy, we are now switching to another bank. This experience has shown us how careless and unresponsive the staff here can be. I wouldn’t recommend this branch to anyone looking for reliable service.

Terrible customer service at this branch. The staff was unresponsive to my concerns and failed to provide a clear solution to my problem. The entire visit was a frustrating waste of time. Management seriously needs to look into how this branch is being run.

Really pathetic services,, almost 7 years of relationship with this bank. Hopefully today will be the last one. Promise not to come back again. Starting from security guard to office staff all are arrogant enough. They just all the customers have nothing to do at home, so they come here. 2 hrs of Waiting time just to get a loan closure documents. The staff present in the branch is really helpful. Especially gentleman: Dheeraj Choudhury. He really helped me with all the queries and concerns. It's a delight to visit the branch. All my concerns were resolved very quickly.

Very poor experience during my loan period. When one take loan they will be over polite. Will go to your place and collect papers. And their responsibility ends once loan is sanctioned . After that one has to wait for hours for any small matters. When time for closing of loan comes, they advice you not to come personally and to call or mail them to collect your papers. And they don't reply mail for weeks or connect calls to the person. When one visit their office, they keep them waiting for hours. I don't recommend anyone to take loan from hdfc.

Very very unprofessional team. I had taken a loan at Bangalore HDFC and for disbursement I had to sign some documents. They had sent the papers to HDFC Guwahati. Firstly why is the google drop incorrectly updated? Secondly and most importantly, very very unprofessional staff including Managers. The Deputy Manager had my papers and I was supposed to sign along with my father and wife. If we would ask him something he would say “Check with your Bangalore branch I don’t know”. He behaved the same way with my father too. When my father was able to understand and was explaining him the policy, which is funny as he being a deputy manager was having no idea, he said “Ok read all the polices”. What type of nonsense. Firstly he has no idea about his bank’s policy and now when my father was explaining him the policy, he acted as if it was nothing. He has no respect for senior citizens. It was about 100s of signatures which we had to and this guy was saying “do fast customers are waiting”. He even later on called the other customer and asked him to sit beside us. All my confidential information was just sitting there and the other guy was peeping. Was this because I had been in touch with Bangalore Branch for loan and not Guwahati Branch? So does HDFC has “personal” customer policy where they treat good customers who belong to their branch and behave like step child for other branches? This has to be escalated! Totally disappointed and disgraced!!!
