While there was no nothing so disappointing about our time here there was barely anything worth praising either. Chicken thali and Pork thali, along-with a Naga style bamboo-shoot boil were ordered. Very average thali experience, the Naga bamboo shoot were mainly fat pieces with slivers of meat on them. The chairs were stained, the table wasnt well wiped, and noticed mold on the wall. Overall hygiene needs an upgrade, food is okay but has room for improvement.

Finally, a place in Bhangagarh that serves proper Assamese food with great hospitality. The flavours feel authentic and homely, just like traditional cooking should be. Everything we tried was fresh and really tasty. The staff were warm and welcoming too. Must try if you love Assamese food — made me feel proud as an Assamese.

A perfect place to enjoy authentic ethnic flavors. accidentally forgot my bag containing important documents, but the staff kept it safely. I’m truly thankful for their honesty and care. The reviews which other people left were absolutely correct. One of the best restaurants I have ever visited. The ambience and beautiful interior gives a soothing and calming experience. Regarding the food, both the taste and proportion were fabulous and worth the price. I do recommend anyone who is reading this comment to visit Pepa even once. You won't be disappointed.

Had a hearty lunch at this newly opened restaurant. Ethnic Assamese cuisine is served here but Chinese items are also available. There is a good variety of dishes on the menu. Here's what I ordered: Pork with Lai Xaak Curry, Chicken Fry and Plain Rice. The chicken fry was really good. It was slightly crispy on the outside but moist on the inside. The pork curry was alright, however, there was hardly any red meat at all. Perhaps, I should have told them beforehand. The plain rice was good. Quantities of the food are more than sufficient. Totally worth the price! Ambience of the place is decent and service was good. Definitely worth checking out!

After we returned to our Airbnb accommodation at Christian Basti in the heart of Guwahati yesterday (Monday – June 23, 2025), my partner and I wanted to have something light for our dinner. Ordering on Zomato was a given. Therefore, we searched for Aloo Pitika, and the name of 'PEPA The Ethnic Kitchen' popped up. We ordered one (1) plate of Aloo Pitika, one (1) plate of Plain Dal, two (2) plates of Plain Rice, and one (1) plate of Lai Xaak Boiled. All the items were noticeably light – exactly what we wanted. We had a healthy dinner. We shall definitely consider re-ordering from this place!

We ordered chicken thali and pork thali . Chicken thali was for 300 and pork thali was for 349 . The thali contained two types of dal , rice , brinjal fry , bitter gourd deep fry , pumpkin and aloo sabji , a saak and aloo bhaji , aloo pitika , papaya khar and kheer . Two types of chicken ( curry and dry fried ) and pork ( normal curry and dry fried ) were given . The chicken curry was average buy dry fry was very tasty. The pork curry and dry fry taste very blend and wee didnot enjoy it . The service and ambience was good
