I was craving authentic Assamese biya style mutton in the USA, and during my visit to Guwahati, this was the first place I tried to kill that craving. Honestly, their veg thali turned out to be more rewarding than the ₹370 full mutton curry. One day I took the mutton parcel, and it was quite good — flavorful and satisfying. But the next day, when I dined in and ordered the same mutton, it was awful. Totally inconsistent! The veg thali, on the other hand, was really good — full of traditional Assamese flavors like muri ghanta, mati dali, kolphul, and more. The hospitality was warm, and the cleanliness deserves a 4/5. I’d definitely go again — not for the mutton, but for the veg thali!

Horrible experience, We went for veg thali on Monday, we ordered two veg thali, we found a small piece of fish in dry fry sabji, that is unacceptable completely, where they charge 180/- on veg thali, so they should prepare like that, so from my suggestion if you are eating veg thali then don’t go such places.

Rajmahal Bhojanalay is a great spot if you’re craving a good Assamese thali within a good budget range. The food is simple, authentic, and satisfying — just what you’d hope for in a traditional meal. A good place to enjoy the taste of home-style cooking.

I am not recommending this, specially for children.I had order mutton 2 times.but could not eat due to masala and spice. Veg thali is good. I told the manager but he dont care. Very bad experience.

A best budget friendly Assamese authentic hotel located in sixmile... They have veg thali only for 150 rs. Other non-veg options are chicken, duck, fish and mutton. We tried veg thali with chicken curry... In veg thali there are so many kinds of sabji, dal, pitika and dessert... The place is crowded when we visit there.. The food was really delicious.

Best place to have rice thali. The food is served in brass utensils. About 9 small bowls of side dishes are served. The quality and quantity of the food is good too. I had veg rice thali @₹120 with chicken curry half plate (two big pieces) @₹130
