Verandah - A Book Cafe

Veranda Cafe has a really nice ambience and vibe, which definitely justifies the slightly higher pricing. The staff were quite professional and courteous, which added to the overall experience. Food was just okay; not bad, but nothing exceptional either. One thing that really stood out was the interior decor, the bold and interesting posters and flyers make the place lively and even help couples break the ice. Overall, a good spot if you’re looking for a cozy and vibrant cafe experience.

Verandah – A Book Café has a calm and creative vibe that makes it stand out in Guwahati. I enjoyed the cozy interiors, bookshelves, and balcony space overlooking the street. It’s a great spot to read, work, or chill with friends. The food is tasty though not always consistent, but coffee and snacks pair well with the ambiance. Service is polite and overall experience feels refreshing.

Me and my friend used to visit the cafe occasionally due to the ambience and food. But yesterday what we experienced was beyond our imagination. We ordered aglio olio and this is what was served that too with so less portion. Hakka noodles with fried chicken on toppings. On complaining it to the waiter he was so sure that it is served everywhere as if we never tasted. Verandah has lost it's charm. Never going again.

Good place to visit, with a lot of board games to play and books to read. We ordered cold coffee with ice cream and sweet lime soda which was good. We also ordered the smoked chicken salami pizza which was nothing special I will say very average.We also ordered the bbq chicken which was very good a must try.All in all a great place to hangout and also the washroom was in a very bad state.

I loved the vibe of the restaurant. The staff were humble and kind. The service was also good. We ordered chicken thukpa and mixed fried rice. The thukpa was full of vegetables and in the mixed fried rice I didn't find a single piece of pork. The quantity was good. Need to uplift the taste of the food a little bit.

Very disappointing! The food was expensive yet not worth it at all. It didn’t taste fresh, lacked quality, and overall felt like a waste of money. Definitely not going again. aesthetic ( cafe look) was good but people pay for the food not for d aesthetic though.. so giving 1 star..!!!

It's a beautiful space. I love the place. Amazing ambience. It's environment is super cool. Really good place for chilling with friends as well as family. The food here is quite delicious. A lot of varieties in their menu along with the interesting naming of their food items. I gave it 4 stars because the food is a bit expensive in my opinion. Other than that, I really enjoyed myself with my friends....
