ASTC Khanapara Bus Boarding Point

There's good connectivity to Middle , North and Upper Assam through Super buses as well as Maximos and travellers, however this locations is quite polluted with no proper facilities of washroom or waiting People are forced to stand amidst heated sun and dust

It is just a roadside boarding point as the name suggests, nothing related to the newly constructed ASTC Khanapara which is just below the flyover. No facilities for the passengers, police inefficient in maintaining traffic as the buses block more than half of the highway daily. Uber, Ola, Rapido does not take you to the boarding point as they have to take a long U-Turn after that, so you have to walk around 300 MTRS from below the flyover where the cabs drop you or be ready to pay extra amount

A Lil bit confusing in my opinion, in case of online bus you should go some more steps towards Jorabat side. In the end of the overbridge u'll get yr bus. In case of offline bus u should stay similar rest point of City buses.

Tezpur 200 rupees. 5 hours. This bus seems clean. Dirty bus stop. More should stop using plastics. Bus was here around 2:30pm and didn’t leave for over an hour. Seems many got off the big bus and went for other buses. Someone said buses run every hour here but I don’t think that is right information because I have been here over an hour. However there are many buses so will eventually find a ride. Seems they leave until bus is full. So maybe better to come in morning. Been traveling for 3 years check out my YouTube. Epic! This is basically just a point where local buses, as well as buses to Tezpur, and Shillong stop to pick up passengers. No shelter from rain except a few tiny tea stalls. On the opposite side of the road, there's a sweets shop (SRS) where you can get snacks if you're hungry.

But I am also frank in criticizing the shortcomings. The bus stands of some smaller places are better. Therefore, the bus stand of the capital should be well-developed.So You can experience in a very cheap price. 😃❤️❤️

This is the worst place to wait for the Buses going to Middle and Upper Assam. A restroom with paid toilet facilities can be developed there for public convenience. And one more thing, please don't choose this point to go there by using Uber or other Apps. You have to go a long way with your luggage, which may be a little difficult for lady travelers. Very beautiful place to wait for buses. Plenty of seating areas & buses are also very good & comfortable.
