The food is great and they provide literally huge options , even in their vegetarian thali consists of around - 15 items, including the water bottle... The behaviour of the staff is very friendly. Even I am still sitting at their hotel charging my phone. And the manager said - its upto you till when you want to sit you can sit and relax. So friendly. It's not only the manager - also the serving staffs are also very friendly. It's a recommended place to visit and have some scrumptious food here..

Yes, it's bit far from the main City of Guwahati but quite convenient for Passengers/ Commuters ...Big open space makes movement of buses in and out comfortably.... Entry free for private vehicles to pick up Commuters not like the ISBT of Shillong ..

From 20 buses to 205 buses, the Inter State Bus Terminus (ISBT) of Guwahati has grown in strength over the past eight years connecting all the state capitals of India’s Northeast and other parts of the region by road. Following improvement of railway services in the region a large chunk of passengers now prefer train journey. However, for many commuters in the region a journey by bus is still the most favourite mode of travel. It started functioning from the 8th of December, 2006. The project, financed by North Eastern Council had a total cost of about 36 crore rupees and took about 8 years to complete. The ISBT functions under a Senior Divisional Superintendent, Mr. S. Prasad Sharma. A total of about 205 buses (34 ASTC buses, 41 under ASTC service and 120 to 130 private buses). Initially, only about 20 inter-state buses were operating from ISBT. From 2008, intra-district and inter-district services started from the ISBT. The city bus service falls under the local service division.

Big complex with many buses directed towards most northeast cities including Imphal Tezpur etc. Cleanliness could be improved.

A wonderful place... Fantastic food, fantastic service, fantastic behaviour of the staff... Overall a perfect destination for Pork items and ethnic Bodo/Assamese food... The snail curry was superb... Prices are reasonable... Overall, a perfect food destination to satisfy your hunger and tastebuds...
