Cut The Damn Cake - Cafe

Went there with my wife in the evening and we tried the Raspberry Choco Mousse Cake and the Nutella Brownie, both were simply delicious and rich in flavour, the prices are well worth it. My wife still keeps telling me that it was a very memorable day as we sat outside and enjoyed our pastries while soaking in the view of old Guwahati in the evening, made us forget about our busy lives.

I rarely put reviews actively and nobody really prompted me to do so today either, but I visited this little Cafe while visiting the city and I was surprisingly pleased. I had Iced Spanish Latte and it was yum, the coffee had a kick and it wasn't too sweet either. It was proper coffee not the ones you generally get in Guwahati in the name of coffee (no shade). I also got their sea salt chocolate cookie and it was delicious as well! So happy to see a great cafe serving actual coffee and great baked stuff in Guwahati!

Never buy cake from this shop. I bought a plump cake and had a balloon in it. I don’t know what could have been the impact on my body it I ate it.

Best in the town. No cap !! This coming from someone with dominant savoury taste buds should suffice for the place’s credibility. My 23 yo palette had hopped in almost all of the prominent bakeries and confectioneries in the city but yeah nah, CTDC does it leagues better !!

My absolute favourite spot in Guwahati for brownies. Found myself at the cafe for breakfast today, and it did not disappoint at all!! Excellent food and coffee, thanks to the wonderfully polite staff!

I've tried coffee in a lot of Guwahati cafes but nothing hits like Cut The Damn Cake Cafe! The aroma, the flavor, its absolute perfection. The food was top notch. Highly recommend their open toasts, pastas and pizzas. One of the very places in Guwahati serving good all day brunch options.

I ordered the Nutella Chocolate Mini Ganache on behalf of a friend, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. The portion size was a bit small, but the quality and taste were absolutely worth it. What really impressed me was the attention to detail: I had requested a message on the cake, and unlike many places that either skip the instruction or use buttercream, they actually wrote it beautifully with chocolate. That thoughtful touch made the order extra special🌻
