I visited this place to buy a cake for my little one. In terms of food options it is a good place with a wide variety to choose from. The food was fresh and tasted good. I purchased a cake and a croissant and was happy with the quality of both. However the customer service was very disappointing. The staff member assisting me had no proper knowledge about the cake and was not professional in his approach. He called another person to answer my question and I was told that the cake had a vanilla sponge base. When I came home I realized it was actually a chocolate sponge cake which felt misleading and careless. The management really needs to train the staff better about the products they are selling and the ingredients used. If that is not possible then clear displays should be provided. There were no price tags flavour details or ingredient lists for the cakes. This made it difficult to choose and forced customers to ask multiple questions to staff who seemed unaware of the items they were selling. The staff should also work on having a more polite and presentable tone while speaking to customers. Good food alone is not enough when the service experience is this poor.

Extremely bad quality of cakes and pastries. Their shop is a just show of. Their products are pathetic.

I had a very pathetic experience with this outlet recently. I had booked a frozen themed cake 2 days before my daughter's Birthday and even paid Rs. 1000/- advance. But when I went to take the delivery of the cake at the given time, the staff there casually informed that they had forgot to place the order in their their workshop and there was no cake. My little daughter stated crying as she was planning to cut a big frozen themed in front of her friends. Such callous and unproffessional attitude of the staff is highly deplorable. If they were so incompetant to deliver on time, they should have informed beforehand only. Spoilt my little one's Birthday.

The quality of Loyans have deteriorated in the past few years. I have been a regular customer but recently the food has started tasting very odd. Yesterday I bought two pieces of pastry and it had fungus in it. The vanilla pastry with black and green mould was quite prominent. They’ve been selling the worst quality of food. Yesterday was the last time eating from here. Avoiding Loyans at any cost!

Love the pastries and patties! Abit on the expensive side, but worth the price. Specially the Cheesecream and The Red Velvet Choco Lava

Good bakers of Guwahati, there are few outlets. This outlet is at wireless, Beltola.

I am a frequent customer here. But they have started selling stale products. Today I bought a New York cheesecake and a donut. The cheesecake was ok but the donut was tasting like kerosene. It made me sick as I was unable to tolerate the strong smell of kerosene. It was not expected from Loyans.
