Martha Bakes

I was googling for home bakery and I randomly decided to go with Martha bakes and to my surprise it was best thing I did. I ordered 1 kg cake and I wanted chocolate-vanilla flavour. She told she’ll bake chocolate cake with vanilla frosting and The cake turned out super yummy, very soft and spongy, sweetness was apt. The best was the interaction with her. I wanted home delivery service also and She herself came with the cake which I was not expecting at all. My overall experience with her was very good. I’ll Highly recommend.

I had ordered my daughter's Birthday cake from Martha Bakes. We definitely had a great experience with her. The cake was delicious 😋 and the design was also just the we wanted. I always order cake from her.

So, this was the first time, I ordered from Martha Bakes for my four year old’s birthday. My son happens to be a Spider-Man fan and so I thought a super hero themed cake featuring Spider-Man would make him very happy. The cake turned out just as I expected. The looks, taste , everything was of topnotch quality. And most of all, the owner/baker’s thoughtfulness was really appreciable.

The rainbow cake was beautifully designed and of great quality. Each layer was soft, colourful, and delicious — perfect for my little daughter. We are very satisfied with our first order and look forward to ordering again in the future

We were so lucky to have our wedding cake made by Ms. Martha, and it was nothing short of perfection! Every detail, from the design to the flavor, reflected her incredible talent and passion for baking. The cake not only looked stunning but tasted absolutely divine; our guests are still talking about it! She truly poured her heart into creating something special for us, and it made our day even more memorable. This is more so, when it was done on extremely short notice (overnight, to be exact). Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a cake or any other baked delights that’s both beautiful and delicious! Festive season is just around the corner, watch out for her delectable hampers!

Martha Bakes is easily one of the best bakeries I’ve visited — everything tastes fresh, rich, and perfectly balanced in flavor. The presentation is beautiful, warm and welcoming. You can tell real care goes into every bake, from cakes to pastries. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back for more every time!

Her cakes are one of the best I've tasted in this country. 😋 The sponge is thick and filling with the right amount of delicious buttercream in between. Right level of sweetness too, especially the Apple Pie. The Cheesecake and Red Velvet cakes are also superb. As for the service, one can say it's the best you can get from a home baker. No wonder she won the award for the Best Home Baker at the Guwahati Food Awards 2021. ☺ The time and energy she invests on each decorative item on the cake is way beyond the amount the customers pay for the cake. I've posted photos of the sugar flowers she made for a wedding: David Austin roses which are very difficult and time consuming to make. Guwahati peeps are lucky to have her in town. 😉 Apologies for the less amount of pictures, I ate all the cakes each time before clicking photos. 🤭

Amazing service provided by Martha! Starting from getting the best flavour, customization etc. She is co-operative with the customers and their demands. Now coming onto the flavour part, I ordered a 2-tier cake (with two different flavours) for the 1st birthday of my babies and everyone just loved the flavours. All just wanted to have more! It was that tasty. And she made exactly the same design that I wanted. She took care of every single thing that I told her. She also have a wide selection of other items which are equally delicious.
