If you’re on the hunt for top-tier desserts in Guwahati, Qalaa is an absolute must-visit; it is hands down home to some of the best pastries I have ever had. We recently sampled the red velvet cheesecake, the strawberry pastry, and the tiramisu, and every single bite was a testament to their quality and craft. While the prices are definitely on the costlier side, the flavors and textures are so refined that they feel entirely worth the splurge for a premium treat. The bakery itself has a very cute setting with a cozy sitting area inside, making it the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy a sweet moment. I would highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a high-quality dessert experience that truly delivers on its promises.

I recently visited Qala, and it has quickly become one of my favorite spots for coffee and desserts. The bakery has a warm, cozy vibe with beautiful interiors that make it perfect for both casual hangouts and quiet “me-time.” Their menu offers a wide variety of cakes, pastries, breads, and savories – all freshly baked and beautifully presented. I tried their chocolate truffle pastry and a classic cappuccino, and both were absolutely delicious. The pastry was creamy, not overly sweet, and perfectly balanced, while the coffee had a rich aroma and smooth taste. The staff is polite, attentive, and quick with service, which added to the overall pleasant experience. I also loved their selection of artisanal breads that you can take home. Whether you want to relax, catch up with friends, or just indulge in fresh bakes, Qala is definitely worth a visit!

⭐ 1/5 — Extremely Disappointed! I ordered a cake from QALAA, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The cake arrived completely broken and damaged, and the packaging was absolutely horrible — it’s no surprise the cake didn’t survive the delivery. This was supposed to be for a special occasion, and it was completely ruined because of their careless handling and poor packaging. A restaurant that charges premium prices should at least know how to deliver food properly. I would never recommend QALAA to anyone who values quality, presentation, or even basic customer care. Totally unacceptable and extremely disappointing experience.

This was my second visit, and the cakes are really very tasty. The ambience was cool, and the staff was well-mannered and polite. Overall, a pleasant experience

They used to make lovely cakes a year back but the decline in quality is for real... I ordered Lotus biscoff newyork cheese cake last week and it was as hard as a nut. We thought it might be an exception.. but yesterday I ordered red velvet cake for a birthday... The quality has turned abysmal... There was literally a thin layer of cream cheese just for the sake of it... They have now resorted to profit making rather than maintaining quality standards..Paying a premium doesn't make sense to me now.. Wont be ordering anymore..!!

The country fried chicken I received was very cold, even though I live just 500 meters away from your outlet. I contacted them and also shared my concern on their official number. I was informed that I would receive a callback, but I haven’t heard from anyone till now. I’m quite disappointed with the service and expected better customer care.

Refrain buying cheesecakes from qalaa!! my whole family got sick and when I confronted them, they said that its all fresh, if it was fresh why would we get sick when qalaa's cheesecakes was the only common thing we had. very disappointed, never buying anything from here or even any other outlet.
