I had planmed for a solo trip to North East and had to cover 1500+ kms in 9 days. The owner gave me the best bike he had as I had requested. Himalayan BS6 bike alomg with some spare parts like brake pads, clutch wire etc so that I dont have to struggle if Im stuck somewhere if something had gone wrong. He also advised to keep cleaning and oiling the chain for a smoother ride and I did that for every 300kms. I covered Tawang, Bumla, Lhari(Zemithang), Shillong, Dawki and Jowai. I am from Kolkata. I did rent a TVS Ntorq scooter on 24th October 2021. The scooter was really well maintained and did provide me with the utmost comfort while riding. I did travel to Tezpur University which is almost 175kms from Guwahati. I did start my journey at around 11.30 am and reached Tezpur University at around 3.30 pm. Also returned from Tezpur to Guwahati on the very same day. Started from Tezpur at 6 pm and reached Guwahati at 9 pm. The scooter was literally flying. Did not give a single trouble. I am very impressed with the service. Price is also on the reasonable side only, INR 600/- for 24 hours and perhaps INR 3000/- for a week. The owner is very humble and down to earth and really very soft-spoken. No documentation is required. No heavy paperwork. You just need to pay the rent and a security deposit amount which is refundable. But yes, a Govertment ID [Voter ID or Aadhar] and Valid Driving License are must. Great bike, great service and on top of it, the guy (owner) is great. He is like a brother and helps as much as possible in needed situations. Reasonable price. Great experience with whichever bikes I have taken, haven't got any problem. And he makes sure that all the bikes are maintained well so that you don't get stuck anywhere. I took a picture of the 77777 km while driving and thought of posting it😅
