On entering this restaurant one gets the feeling of a traditional Assamese house as it is decorated with household items thereby offering an Assamese touch. The speciality of this restaurant is Assamese cuisine. So ordered Veg Thali and Pork Curry. The platter contained rice, 3 types of dal, 5 types of veggies, papad, chutney and green salad. Had a satisfying meal.

They are very bad behaved. Serve cold food in the middle of the day time. It is better to avoid this restaurants. If one is looking for good traditional recipes there are better options available at Six Mile area on the Jayanagar Road.

I visited Dhowa Chang Hotel on 30/11/2025 and had a very disappointing experience. The rice they served was stale and had an unpleasant smell, which completely ruined the meal. When I informed the manager, he himself accepted that the rice was stale, which was shocking and unacceptable for any hotel. The quality of food and the overall service did not meet even basic standards. I truly hope the management takes this seriously and improves their food quality and hygiene. I would not recommend this place based on my recent visit.

Purely traditional Assamese food available here in Thali system. The food is served in Assamese traditional utensils. The place is very clean and well maintained. Good staff behavior. Both veg and non veg items (chicken, fish, mutton, duck) are served here. Veg thali includes items like Aalo Pitika, Kachu, Banana shoots etc.
