Purbashree Store has a nice collection of Northeast handicrafts and handloom items. Quality is good but prices are on the higher side. Store is simple, staff are helpful, decent for occasional shopping.

The best sarees and the Best local jewelry. But the Staff don't care whether you buy or Not. In fact, it will be quite an accomplishment if you manage to catch their attention. Prices are definitely below the prices of other surrounding emporia. Patiently look around the store yourself. I made quite a few purchases.

It's supposed to represent the arts and crafts of North East India. The region is so beautiful and steeped in culture . But this store was a letdown . Items were old and dusty . Except for the Mekhala chador which range was nice and the some kurta materials. The staff was honest enough to admit that all the items displaced were at least as old as covid. Earlier they used to have such pretty tribal jewelry, now just leftovers of previous stuff .

Good store for variety of products belonging to north eastern states. Prices are reasonable. But needs better maintenance. Found some broken earrings etc and dust on products.
