CCRT GUWAHATI

It was a very good training programme there. It was a 21 days programme of teachers' training in 2016-17. There were around 85 teachers from some 14 states of India. We were only 2 teachers from Gujarat. And in this orientation programme we came to know about the rich cultural heritage of India. We have to represent our state in this cultural training programme and prepare a presentation, speech, performance etc. for an hour. Ibrahimbhai and I represented Gujarat there and it was a great experience. All did really well. The lectures at the CCRT were excellent. And Dr. Sandip Sharma is a genius lecturer indeed who not only guided all the teachers about different aspects of the cultural heritage of India but managed everything very well. The building was very old and it should be made new somewhere else. We experienced a minor earthquake also. We saw some great dance performances.

it is situated beside Panjabari road, opposite Purabi dairy. Bus stop is juripar, panjabari, guwahati, Assam 781037. Place is good. Bike, cycle, car parking are available. Transport communication is good.

This is a lovely place and a great place to acquire knowledge about the culture and tradition of North-East and the relation between North east and the rest of India

CCRT is the best institute for Indian culture art and puppetry.
