Mahendra's Institute - Guwahati for Banking SSC State Exam Railway Teaching and CUET

The faculty is talented, but the management and their new teaching system are a mess. Everything was going great initially, but they suddenly shifted to this tiered L1/L2/L3 approach that wasn't mentioned at the time of admission. Now, management pushes you into advanced batches even if your basics aren't clear, expecting you to learn foundations on your own via YouTube. Even good teachers cannot fix a fundamentally broken and misleading system. It is disappointing to see a once-good process ruined by poor management decisions. Save your money and join an institute that cares about actual student progress, not just these new test-oriented tiers.

Location Opposite of Central Mall, Christian Basti. Then 100 metres walk away. Visited the Mahendra Coaching Institute for Enquiry and admission details. Registration Desk Staffs were quite good and understandable. Everyday 2 hours Class depending on the batch and slot. Overall it was good but less spacious of the classroom and all. And especially the doors of every Classroom makes noises while opening & closing the door which may disturb the other candidates. Not much charging plug points in the Study Room for charging the laptops & all. These are the things which can be properly improved if the authorities really wanted to. PS- During my visit road construction was going on.

Syllabus is never completed and my course August (SSc cgl 2025) got extended till February. Now they are saying to get enrolled in a new batch. Simultaneously I was even doing Banking course. 3 month course ended in 5 months. Mane amar time r value nai ? They only care about batch and fees. While enrolling they will say" you have 3 years validity..if you take premium you will get 5 years validity" This is just a marketing scheme.

HONEST REVIEW: (SSC AND BANK BATCH 2025) [ NOT RECOMMENDED] Positives: 1) Reasoning Faculty is one of the best , Himanshu Sir is one of best at his job and subject and the most valuable asset this branch has. 2) FEE Structure is decent, timings cater to everyone regardless of their schedules. NEGATIVE:- 1) Poor management, they care more about opening new batches than completing older ones. 2) Syllabus is mostly incomplete especially for Maths. 3) Seating capacity and arrangement is awful and other facilities like infrastructure, digital board etc are non existent compared to other institutes such as Adda247. 4) Greedy management, they'll sell you courses that are never completed, Books provided by them has lot of mistakes and misprints, they'll ask you to sit in separate batches to complete your pending syllabus. Conclusion: Please opt for some other coaching if you prefer better facilities, infrastructure and resources, Only opt here if you solely want to learn Reasoning.

Teachers are good enough. But the management is pathetic. The institute is just average for banking but for ssc cgl better is expected. Teaching staff keeps on changing so half of the syllabus gets missed. 3 months courses got extended to 6.5 months and few syllabus got missed. The primary problem is the way of solving numericals. Different teachers comes with different methods. Rather spending your money and time prefer online coaching

Good concept clarity, especially in Maths and Reasoning. Regular tests are conducted. Self-study is a must. Overall, worth joining.
