Arya Vidyapeeth College

Please DON'T even think about taking admission in this college, The teachers are hella unprofessional, I don't even know how they are eligible to be a teacher, there's no boys washroom (Yes they pee in open areas), the girls washroom is dirty as hell...the ground floor classrooms gets flooded everytime it rains...and everything about this college is misogynistic... Absolutely HATE this college..Even a teacher from our department said "If any of your friends get a chance to enroll in this college please don't let them...Let them take admission in a different college..this college is not worth it." Please don't waste your time in this rubbish college, if needed take a drop year instead but don't, just don't take admission here.

The college authority is like they want your money but they deny for taking responsibility of your studies . On 10th August we were informed to take sec and idc of your preference but when we log in in the college website it just got crashed and the teachers are like take the subject u prefer but what we prefer is showing seats are full and when enquiring the teacher they are like -"jo bache hue subjects hai usme se lelo" but the subject we want doesn't have good seat capacity and they have practicals on those subject and i.e write assignment i mean what is the meaning of such kind of practical in which their is no field work in them . They are like Idc is interdisciplinary course but what discipline are they making us study their ill behavior or only writing . And in sec they are like take a subject from other stream I mean like we didn't studied that subject and how chose something we don't know and college website is like u can't change the final form . They have only 20 departments and they offer subjects that we never heard about and why not at the time of admission giving a damn form to choose idc sec vac aec n all the the idc and sec classes are in a week only twice and on the second demo class they ask u to chose but at 1st they are like please take demo of every class like how can we chose so early when not getting enough demo class of every subject. So worst management they give id's and admit card notice on night and after completion of the work the students were told to do the office room -2 teacher is so arrogant and doesn't talk properly he shouts at students all day the canteen has dirty food with dirty dishes and the girl's common room is so cheap that u can't even sit for few minutes the college premises has no sitting arrangement for students to sit who have 1 or 2 hours of break the buildings have cracks and it looks like it will fall on student the library staff is u can't sit here so all over this is worst college and please don't take admission in this college for the sake of your mental health.

The one of the best Degree colleges in Guwahati. In this college, M.Sc in mathematics is also available under GU. The faculty of Mathematics department is so talented.

Reputed College.. New RCC buildings have been constructed and few are also in the progress with much better infrastructure.. Mathematics department of the college is known to be one of the best in Assam.. Other departments like Statistics, Zoology, Chemistry, Economics etc are all renown branches of study here.. Diverse combination of subjects for degree courses are available here.. Very clean college campus.. 👍
