IIT Guwahati Shopping Complex

The shopping complex at IIT Guwahati is super convenient and definitely a 5/5. It has all the essentials—stationery, groceries, snacks, and everyday items—right inside the campus, which makes life much easier for students. The variety is decent, prices are fair, and it has a lively vibe in the evenings. A small but very handy hub for the IITG community.

A good shopping place for campus people.

Most of the times the shops are closed and in the afternoon none of them are open

I'd say it as just a 'good' place to buy your household chores and ration. The market though has quite a handsome no. of shops for you many of your needs but yet the place is not the one stop solution for all the products that one expects from a market. The list of unavailable things surpasses the available goods and hence the campus people have to still travel to other places for some items. Also the price of some items such as vegetables, etc is a little higher than outside campus. Rest everything is fine and the service is desirable. good place within campus of iit for daily requirements

Most of the essential and necessary amenities such as grocery, stationary, tailor, parlour, restaurants are present here. One can get almost all the daily need commodities here in the grocery shops especially the one run by IITG Co-operative society. Also there are ATMs and courier office.

This place is the lifeline for a small community of IIT Guwahati residents. Daily needful such as grocery, bakery, fresh vegetables, milk, fruits, meat etc. are available. Also there are two ATMs in the complex itself to fulfill the cash need. However card and UPI transactions are also accepted in the shops.
