Also known as RG Baruah college, located alongside the road. Easy to locate. It near Fatasil ambari. There are lots of trees planted inside the campus. It was neat and clean but less parking space and no play ground for basic physical activities. There is also no proper sitting arrangement below the tree

A Great Covid Vaccine Center Very Specious for people to maintain social distancing forming a line .. The Gurd maintained a decent line I went early at 7am so I dnt need to wait but after Vacation Starts it's hardly takes very long 2 to 3min per person so u dnt need to go that early... Without shedule you can't get Vaccinated even if u wait in line.. (I didn't feel a thing the lady{ nurse } was very skilled it's 48hrs now & I still didn't have any side-effects... As you can tell by now this review is regarding Vaccination not the collage ...yes it's very specious.. with parking.. but there is nothing else I can say...

I'm presently a student of this institution. This college according to me is best in aspects like :- 1. Great faculties 2. Helpful and friendly people 3. Strict and disciplined principal 4. Surroudings clean and green 5. Huge Library 6. English Department is the best. Maybe the marks required for admission to this institution is less but overall one of the best institutions in Guwahati. Some cowards may say something bad about it. Yes, it may have some demerits but it's the best

Baruah College is a promising institution offering both Arts and Commerce courses under Gauhati University for Degree classes and Assam Higher Secondary Education Council for Higher Secondary courses. The college is located on the southern part of Guwahati city at Fatasil-Ambari on the A.K. Deb Road, which connects Bharalumukh with the National Highway 37 bypass at Garchuk, and lies at a distance of about 25 kms from the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi Airport, Borjhar, and 4 kms from the Guwahati Railway Station. The college was established in 1978 with the noble objective of spreading the light of higher education amongst the students of Kalapahar - Fatasil locality, quite a number of who belong to economically backward families. The college was named after Xingha Purusa Radha Govinda Baruah whose contribution in the fields of newspaper industry, sports organization, and cultural activities, is unparalleled in Assam. He is known as the Architect of Modern Assam. The college was brought under the deficit grants-in-aid system in the year 1990 and Arts stream was provincialised by the Govt. of Assam in 2006 and Commerce stream was provincialised in 2013. It is permanently affiliated to Gauhati University and is under the purview of section 2(F) and 12(B) of the University Grants Commission Act 1956.

I'm currently not a student of this college but here is my opinion...this college has improved so much but the principal's behaviour is still the same, rude and arrogant. Treatment every student like nothing but trash. I don't hold any personal grudges against the principal still as our principal you have my full respect :) Although the teachers are lovely. Great teaching skills. The library is big and clean. College should look into the problem of water. Cafeteria needs improvement. Girls bathroom needs proper cleaning.

I have been in this college for 4 long years and enjoying my college life till , this college is becoming very memorable for me as I got some of my bestest friends and brothers in this college ❤️ even the teachers and staffs are friendly too they help us very much especially @dipak Chakraborty sir , @kasturi ma'am @sameer sir , khanindra sir and all of'em , it's is a great experience

It's a quite impressive college with a peaceful environment and it had quite an impressive improvement from the last year and this college also encourages co-carricular activities in all kinds of fields.. Being a student i could surely ensure that you won't be disappointed after taking addmission in this college but i think i would like to say is that it would take a bit time for adjusting with the nature and environment around it..
