Visited in Sep 2025 - the road in front of the shop is under construction ( drainage) so parking is on the road only. The collection is really fabulous and well spread out. We were able to buy souvenirs, sarees and locally made products at a reasonable price and discounted too. A must visit if you want to buy local and handmade products. Saree, shawl, muffler, ghamcha collections are good As usual ( as in any government emporium) staff is laid back and will only respond if you should pick something up, almost like self service till you show interest in the clothing especially. While you don’t want to pester customers, given that this shop should look to promote handicraft and sales, a little bit of proactiveness would be nice .

Fabulous collection. The objects are really beautiful and at a reasonable price. However they need to curate it a little better and have some quality check in. I would advise to check the item before buying.

Bought this beautiful traditional staple cotton saree and saw this defect in weave later. The shop keeps such pieces and does not inform clients. Very disappointed.

It is a Government emporium to buy regional handicrafts, cloths, furniture, tea and souvenir. The prices are fixed so no need to worry about that. Staff is very polite. But, things are just put here and there without focusing on presentation.
