Nykaa Luxe

Visited this Nykaa store with the intention of purchasing a Kay Beauty lipstick, but had a truly unpleasant experience. The sales associate was extremely uninterested, dismissive and made me feel very uncomfortable throughout the interaction. When I asked to swatch the lipstick before purchasing, I was discouraged from doing so without any valid reason. Instead of assisting, the associate adopted a holier-than-thou attitude and began explaining the difference between “nude” and “pink” shades as if I were completely unaware, which felt unnecessary and condescending. I’ve had significantly better experiences at luxe makeup stores like Dior and YSL across the country, where customers are treated with professionalism and respect. For a brand as big as Nykaa, this lack of basic customer etiquette is unacceptable. I’ve read the same kind of negative reviews about them here which just shows it’s a recurring issue. Please invest in proper staff training and fix the attitude problem. Even though I ended up buying the lipstick, it was definitely not the kind of in-store experience one expects. Never stepping foot here again.

Visited the store today as a tourist to buy a Too Faced Lip Injection balm and a YSL perfume. Since the 100ml wasn’t available, I asked to explore other perfume options. The staff was extremely rude and appeared completely uninterested in showing us anything else. We finally decided to purchase the 60ml bottle that was available. When the sales lady asked the SA assisting us to give us some samples, he actually frowned and said there were none. Because of this rude behavior, I told them I didn’t want to go ahead with the purchase anymore. I regularly buy fragrances when traveling outside India, and I’m always given plenty of samples. Here, he reluctantly handed us two tiny samples of a completely different brand and just walked off. Overall, a very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

I have been a regular customer at Nykaa store in City Center Mall, Guwahati, and I must say that my shopping experience there has always been exceptional. Yesterday I visited store for testing some products. As I buy always through app for huge offers they provide I wasn't intended to buy from store actually. One girl Approached me and I asked about some drugstore makeups which I totally understood that the store is Luxe so they don't provide. But my problem is when I moved on, that girl with some other staffs was literally laughing at us like we were not able to buy their products. Their behaviour actually shows a huge disrespect !! It wasn't really acceptable..

While the representative was very polite, friendly and patient, she provided me with a sense of comfort as a customer with her smiles. After shopping, I left the store with the make up which she had performed on my face, and it boosted a feeling of self-confidence in me by looking into mirror. I am thankful to Nandita for making such kind of great experience at Nykaa store.

Staff are so mean dont want to go unless its an emergency and they never give free gifts that comes with the purchase maybe keeping it for themselves.. useless people
