We had ordered mi goreng, phillipine adobo chicken, and some other drink that I can't remember the name of. Of all the items, the dry fish chutney/pickle was the one whose taste lingered on our tongues.

Finally, I had the pleasure of visiting Fires & Flavours in Guwahati. I stopped by in the evening and based on the recommendation, began with Bruschetta as a light snack before moving on to my favourite Japanese dish, the Chicken Katsu Curry rice bowl. I truly appreciated the presentation of the Bruschetta and the taste was equally impressive. As for the rice bowl, food lovers will agree that much of its charm lies in the rice itself, which plays a crucial role in elevating the dish. Interestingly, instead of the usual jasmine rice, they used our very own local alternative, joha rice. I must say, the substitution worked beautifully, blending perfectly with the curry and enhancing the overall flavour. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience and I would certainly recommend paying a visit to the cafe. The ambience was welcoming and the staff were courteous and attentive, which added greatly to the experience. I’ve promised myself that whenever I visit Guwahati, a stop at this cafe will be a must so I can explore more dishes from the menu. Until then, all the very best—keep up the wonderful work!

We randomly stumbled upon Fires and Flavours during a night out, and it was a nice spot with tasty food and a relaxed and laid back vibe. It's a slightly smaller restaurant but has some nice flavors. The food tasted great and there's a good variety of choices as well. Our server Parnu was very attentive and she made sure that our requests were taken care of properly. Sarah says: good, well maintained 🫡

Really nice, underrated place. Travelled quite a long way in the scorching heat to reach there and I would say it was worth it. The vibe was really pleasant and calming. Food was good as well. From continental to oriental, a wide range of dishes are available. The person who served me was very polite and the service was pretty good overall. Ordered: Shrimp Nasi Goreng and Chicken Shawarma Skewers. Tried Nasi Goreng for the first time ever, and I have to say it was quite a unique taste! A bit pungent but overall very flavorful. It came along with a chutney, salad and some crackers which were all nice. Anyways, the overall quantity was decent but I was expecting some big whole shrimp on the side of the rice, as I saw in some pictures from other reviews, and like it said on the menu. But instead, the shrimp were quite small in size, somewhat less in quantity and mixed with the rice. So, I don't know if it was supposed to be that way, or if it was a mistake? The shawarma skewers were pretty good and its flavor was elevated by the garlic sauce that came with it. Just a little confused about the shrimp but overall, a pretty good experience. Definitely worth checking out!

"I recently dined at 'Fires and Flavours,' and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. This hidden gem in the heart of Guwahati offers a delightful fusion of Thai-oriented cuisine, making it stand out in the culinary scene. Their burgers and momos are an absolute must-try and easily the best in Guwahati. The flavors and presentation are simply top-notch. Golden Blue, one of their signature dishes, was a revelation - a true explosion of taste. But it's not just about the food; 'Fires and Flavours' excels in creating an atmosphere and ambiance that is unmatched in the North East. The warm and inviting decor sets the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. Whether you're here for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends, you'll find the atmosphere to be cozy and sophisticated. The service, too, is praiseworthy. The waitstaff is not only attentive but also exudes professionalism. Their politeness and dedication to ensuring your dining experience is flawless were truly commendable. In conclusion, 'Fires and Flavours' is a culinary gem that offers an exquisite blend of flavors, an ambiance that soothes the soul, and service that sets the gold standard. I can't recommend this place enough. It's a must-visit for anyone in Guwahati seeking an unforgettable dining experience." I hope you find this review helpful and reflective of your experience at the restaurant.

The menu offered a variety of Indonesian dishes, and I couldn't resist trying their satay skewers. They were tender, juicy, and paired perfectly with the peanut sauce. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant feeling satisfied.

Extremely over-priced! Very poor taste and quality of food served. Ordered two Sandwiches -grilled chicken, costed ₹400 each. Took a long time to serve, anticipated that maybe the sandwich will be good given the price and time taken, but turned out the sandwich was mostly the bread(sub) and butter, and maximum anyone would be willing to pay is ₹100 for that. I spoke to the owner, told him about the quality of food provided with respect to the money charged, his response was "next time it will be adjusted". I questioned him why will I go there the next time, but he did not take any action from his side and demanded me to pay the full amount with no deduction for the bad food service provided. Definitely don't recommend!
