I've visited Deep Root Institute Of Music and must say the place is exceptionally good for those interested to learn drums in Guwahati and especially when you have one of the best drummers in the scene, Mr Simanta Choudhury da as your mentor.

As somebody who's always wanted to learn to play the drums, I'm so grateful to have found the perfect place. The entire atmosphere feels like a comfort zone. Sir never fails to surprise me with how observant and supportive he is. His patience level is beyond imagination; he would always make an effort to encourage and motivate me even when I repeat the same mistake for the 100th time. Sir's ability to understand his students, which I think is the most crucial part of effective learning, is one of the many reasons that make him the best educator. (not even a single word was exaggerated)

One of the most important decision in your music learning journey you will make is choosing your mentor/teacher, he/she will guide you, set your expectations right, and motivate you to keep polishing the craft. At Deep root, learning drums from Simanta Da, gave me all of it. Every moment spent learning from him has been amazing. Extremely patient with beginners, and the support is invaluable. Would highly recommend, if you are starting on drums. All the best.

I absolutely loved my experience learning drums here, I never thought I would be able to learn in such a way everything in details with clarity and I can feel my improvement in such short notice , I wish to learn more and more in times to come. Best place to learn drums , period .

Hi guys I learn Drums at the institute, Words can't justify how grateful I am to My Sir because i feel everytime awesome learning and exploring new things in Drumming, His expertise is next level, Deeproot institute really stands for the name Deeproot the teacher's will pour knowledge into you so effortlessly that you won't be realising, When you find yourself at a stage of improvement. i have been learning drums with my teacher Simanta Choudhury here since i was a teenager , today i can say that i have improved soo much that i never imagined , dreams do come true. Now I am moving on with further studies in drums here with my teacher . I am grateful , thank you for the love and care 🤘

Best place to learn music. In deep root institute teachers are more like friends and give individual attention to each of their students.
