Nataraj Kala Kendra

My personal experience is excellent 👍 Especially the Kathak teacher Miss Mayuri Bhuyan is a great Kathak teacher. Along with her, I would also appreciate the great behavior with students by miss Bandana (Vocal teacher). These were my experiences according to me it's the best school to learn classical dance, art, vocal and etc.

Nataraj Kala Kendra is a wonderful place for the people who urge to learn any form of art. They provide good facilities and excellent teachers , with whom learning something is not a difficult task. I highly recommend to everyone who wants to excel in any form of art .

Nataraj Kala Kendra is heaven of arts. The teachers are so professional and excellent in teaching, I am pleased to get admission in this school. Learning any dance form in this school will make us a professional dancer one day in future !

My 8 years' long journey with Nataraj Kala Kendra is very colourful. I have made a lot of memories here and learnt a lot. When I first joined this school, the courses I took up were Contemporary dance and Art. The principal of this school, Mrs. Runu Bhuyan is a very affectionate lady. She has been a great mentor in my life. After learning Contemporary dance for 2 years, she was the person who guided me towards classical dance, Sattriya. Our first teacher, Suprava ma'am taught me the basics and the very core of Sattriya. After her, Tanmi Ba polished my dance movements even more. Our current teacher, Jublee Ba is very co-operative and she is guiding us in the proper way. With Art and Sattriya I also took up Bharatanatyam in between. Our Bharatanatyam Teacher, Dr. Himshika Bhuyan or as most of us students address her, Maina Ba has been a big role model in my life. She is as good a teacher as she is a dancer. She has given me so much guidance. Under her guidance I have perfected movements, expressions and mudras. This year is actually my last year of the Bharatanatyam course. I have been learning art since the very beginning. Our first teacher Nina ma'am, is a strict yet understanding lady with immense talent in Art. She taught me colouring with crayons, oil pastel, water colour and poster colour. She also taught me pencil shading. It was because of her that I know, a drawing is never perfect till you give your best. Our current teacher, Simi Ba is also a very talented artist. She is very co-operative and understanding. My journey with art will also be coming to an end this year. This school has given me a lot of opportunities for stage performances and competitions. This school also organizes an Annual function every few years. I have participated in two of them. It was a lifetime experience. Nataraj Kala Kendra also has a very safe and homely environment. Overall my experience with Nataraj Kala Kendra has been an eventful and fantastic journey with ups and down. Nataraj Kala Kendra is one of the places that comes to my mind when I think of home.

You will love this place at first sight. You find peace in midst of noisy city. It has a lot of greenery and some Assamese culture related stuff. Couples have a thing for this place. It is nice place to spend some time with children also as it has some children related stuff. You got some nice backgrounds to click pictures.

One of the best places for anyone trying to learn classical dance lessons and others. The teachers there are the sweetest and care for each student individually.

Talented professionals with sound knowledge on the various dance forms of India. It's nice to see young children getting hands-on training of our Indian culture.
