Sangeet Sattra was the first institution of Sattriya Culture and Art in Assam. The institution is highly rich in training in Sattriya Dance, Khol and Borgeet. Most of the past students have received National Scholarship, Fellowship,A -grade, B-grade and Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar Award. The teachers are highly dedicated and patient in understanding and nurturing the students in best possible way. I'm also a past student and has completed my course in Sattriya Dance and Borgeet with Distinction.

Sangeet Sattra is one of the oldest institutions in Guwahati, founded by the revered Adhyapak Raseswar Saikia Borbayan. Our dance institute, Sattriya Nrityasala, based in Delhi NCR, is proudly affiliated with this esteemed institution. We deeply value our association with Sangeet Sattra, which has consistently supported us—facilitating visa processes for our students and enabling many to earn their degrees through online examinations. We remain ever grateful for their unwavering encouragement and guidance.

Guru Raseshwar Saikia Bor Bayan established Sangeet Sattra in 1960. Since then, his two daughters, Ranju Moni Saikia and Rinjumoni Saikia, along with the entire Sangeet Sattra team, have been carrying forward this rich legacy. To this day, the Sangeet Sattra syllabus is regarded as one of the best in Assam, and the institution continues to look forward to contributing more significantly to the promotion and preservation of Sattriya culture.

A wonderful place to learn and grow in music ( khul and Borgeet )and Satriya dance. The teachers are highly skilled, patient, and truly dedicated to nurturing every student. The environment is both disciplined and encouraging, which makes learning enjoyable. A great platform for anyone who wishes to explore the beauty of our classical art forms.

An amazing place to nurture and grow as a sattriya practitioner. To be able to learn there is a blessing itself. A place where history is rooted, legends are curated.

Very bad dance school... Never go here...These people do a lot of partiality with students unable to dance nicely and abuse them...If necessary avoid these shitty classes and the teachers too
