Dr Basobi Barua

I have been having dandruff issues since a long time and had been struggling to cure it. Madam's medication and guidance have helped me to keep it under control. I am very satisfied and happy with my choice of consulting her. She is very calm, polite and understanding. Thanks to you ma'am for helping me with my skin problems.

Dr Basobi Barua, besides being an extremely good Doctor,is also a very kind and helpful human being . Having a doctor patient relation with her for more than 15 years ,I always consult her for any dermatological issues . Her diagnosis has always been accurate for me and her medicine works like magic to me . I must narrate one incident ; one day last year I saw one or two bald spots on my head and panicked . I rushed to a skin specialist in Ahmedabad where we are staying . After a lengthy examination he prescribed injections on my head .I was very confused and of-course tensed . Without any hesitation I called her and she gave me some medication for 10 days and 2 tropical lotions for applying on the bald area .After about a month the baldness disappeared and my hair was as good as new . In spite of my insistence She didn't take her consultation fees. Even now , often over phone she gives her valuable consultation on any matter whenever I contact her . She has helped many of my family members for their dermatological needs ! I wish her good health and prosperity. My warm regards and gratitude 🙏

Dr. Basobi is a wonderful and experienced Doctor. She is very patient and helpful. My mother was suffering from a complicated skin disease, but her expertise and quick diagnosis helped. After her recommended treatment, my mother has improved alot. I would highly recommend Dr. Basobi to anyone looking for an expert dermatologist.

I rated Doctor.Baruah 1 star. Because I think the doc doesn't care about her patients. I had a very dangerous skin allergy. So I went to see her and she ask me to do blood test first. I did, after seen the blood test she told me that I must get infected by natural objects(any kind of tick lice etc). Then she told me that it will be fine and prescribe some medicines. I took all of the medicine and started taking them. After that my skin allergy became very dangerous. It spreaded all over my body and face too. So I decided to step back from her medicine and seen a very good doctor from my home town pathsala. And that doc told me that my skin allergy is not a normal allergy. It is a very dangerous and harmful too. This kind of allergy is not 100% curable. will come back after 2-3 yrs. So thanks to that doctor Because of him I am almost Allright today. I don't recommend anyone to Doctor.Baruah. very disappointed.

I met Dr Basabi Baruah in Mediclinic at Chandmari. She prescribed some medicines for skin ailment and asked me to let her know if those don’t work after one month. When I went again to see her as her prescription didn’t work at all, she said that I have to pay consultation fee again for reviewing her own medicines as it crossed one month. Very poor practice by a senior doctor. Nobody should go to her.

Bad experience.. Not attentive at all. Didn't ask any questions. Just scribbled some ointments & tablets without even consulting properly and stick us with a bill of 2k including the meds. Worst part, the medicines did not work at all even after 5 days of application. Eventually went to a different Dermatologist, who diagnosed it correctly and now there is a lot of improvement after couple of days of application. Wont recommend.

She is very helpful ,cooperative and always responds positively to any quary , my daughter has been under her treatment for many years and her skin problem has improved significantly over time, Dr. Basobi Barua Mam is one of the best dermatologist in Guwahati. My kind Regards
