My Horrible Experience at Medicity Guwahati : A friend booked an appointment with Dr. Bipul Choudhury (MD, DM Endocrinology). We were told to arrive by 5 PM, but shockingly, we were kept waiting till 9:30 PM — with no explanation or updates. The hospital’s management was utterly disorganized. No basic amenities — no drinking water, no mobile charging station, and shockingly poor hygiene. Even the doctors’ washroom was in a terrible state, smelling awful and clearly not maintained. Extremely disappointed by such neglect at a reputed medical center. Patients deserve respect and basic human consideration.

Great Experience with the all sisters and Dr. Tofile Ahmed sir , Birinchi Mahanta da . And all other staff also . I cant describe with words about their behaviour and care towards my mother whom i had admitted there on 14th of November . Thank you so much to all the staff of Medicity Aditya .

Today’s Experience at Medicity I had booked an appointment with a doctor at 6:30 pm today and reached Medicity well in advance at 5:30 pm. At the reception, I was informed that I had serial number 7 and the consultation would begin at 6:30 pm. While waiting, I noticed that patients were not being called in proper order. When my turn finally came, the attendant suddenly told me that five patients would be seen before me, showing me another list and explaining that those patients were only there to show reports. I clarified that I too had come to show my report and pointed out that I was never asked during registration whether I was a new patient or reporting for follow-up. To my surprise, I was then told that after 21 days, patients are treated as “new” just to charge the new consultation fee. Because of this mismanagement and lack of transparency, I chose to take a refund and left. I want to stress that I have nothing against the doctor, who is highly reputed, but the clinic management requires serious improvement. I have already booked my next appointment with the same doctor at Nemcare Hospital for the day after tomorrow. As a suggestion to fellow patients: why tolerate such inconvenience when you are paying for services? On top of that, the AC on the 2nd floor was not functioning, leaving patients uncomfortable while waiting. Better management and patient care are urgently needed at Medicity.

I have been taking my mother to Medicity for consultations with Dr. Dhruvajyoti Chowdhury, for quite some time now, and while the doctor himself has always been great and the consultations have never been an issue, today’s experience was deeply disappointing. We had a scheduled appointment at 10 AM. Unfortunately, we got stuck in terrible traffic and I made sure to call ahead to inform the clinic that we were running late. Despite informing them, it seems the message was never relayed to the doctor. By the time we arrived, we were told that the doctor had already left. Now, we’re left with the inconvenience of having to reschedule and go through the entire process again — something that could’ve been avoided with a little coordination and consideration. Please understand and respect that patients and their caregivers also value their time. A bit of empathy and better communication would go a long way in improving the patient experience.

the whole org. is very unprofessional ! I think the doctors here doesn’t even know the actual meaning of what being punctual is ! I’ve sitting here with my two 80+ yrs grandparents for consulting Dr Naba J Borah from 5 pm where we had our appointment on 5:30 pm but it’s 7:30pm while I’m writing the review and the doctor did not reach here till yet ! they provide very unpunctual, unprofessional and pathetic service. I highly recommend to consult doctor anywhere except this place which is MEDICITY ADITYA TOWER .
