I visited North East Diabetes & Obesity Research Centre, Guwahati on 14th July 2025 for a routine check-up. My reports were quite alarming at that time — FBS: 266 mg/dl, PPBS: 454 mg/dl, and HbA1c: 12.1%. After consulting Dr. Nasimur Riaz, I was prescribed two medicines along with lifestyle modification and a diabetic diet. Within just one week, my sugar levels improved drastically (FBS: 115 mg/dl, PPBS: 139 mg/dl) and sir advised me to stop one of the medicines and continue only the first one. Today, after one month of treatment and discipline, I did a follow-up and I’m extremely happy with the results: ✔ FBS: 105 mg/dl ✔ PPBS: 124 mg/dl ✔ HbA1c: 4.8% (non-diabetic level!) I am truly grateful to God for His grace and mercy, and to Dr. Nasimur Riaz sir for his guidance and effective treatment. It’s been a very satisfying experience and I would highly recommend this centre to anyone looking for proper diabetes care.

Very good diagnostics centre at Ashram Road, Ulubari, Guwahati-7. The diabetic doctor Nasimur Riaz's treatment for diabetes and behaviour is outstanding. Medical tests are cheap and prompt. All the staff are very cooperative.

Had a lovely meeting with Dr Riaz and the staff. We had a great experience there. The kind of response they provide is wonderful. All the staffs are in their best behaviour. The place is clean, hygienic and properly air conditioned.

He is a very good doctor and along with being a doctor, he is also a good human being who accepts his patient's pain as his own. He treats patients and patients in such a good way. I feel very proud that we have doctors like him in Assam too.
