We planned our Meghalaya offbeat locations trip with ED in January 2026. It was well planned and executed and even though we travelled with a kid, we were able to thoroughly enjoy the offbeat destinations. The ED guides were very friendly and helpful and it was very safe to travel to remote destinations. Special call out to Evan ( guide in Cherrapunji ) who made the trek to the top of Noahkalikai a really enjoyable trek - a highlight of our trip. Would definitely recommend to plan NE trips with ED.

We were a family of nine who travelled to Meghalaya through Experience Destination, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. This trip had been planned six months in advance and was beautifully curated by Ratan. None of us, however, anticipated the last-minute flight cancellations on the day of travel. Since it was our first trip together as a family and such moments rarely return, we were determined not to miss it. The entire itinerary was shifted by a day, and yet the trip remained absolutely flawless — we didn’t feel a single hitch despite the rescheduling. A big shoutout to the entire team for working so seamlessly. From the homestay hosts who proactively checked on our dinner and breakfast plans to the guides who called a day prior to discuss the itinerary, everything was handled with such care. Special appreciation to driver Tilak and guides Boi, PS, and Hep — each of them was incredibly supportive and accommodating, making our journey truly memorable. PS deserves a special mention for the picnic lunch that felt like a comforting touch of home. The Amkoi experience was unforgettable — whether it was cliff jumping or kayaking, it was simply out of this world! The stays arranged at Sohra, Pongtung, Shillong, and Guwahati were all handpicked and offered amazing ambience. We are also grateful for the contact provided for Maa Kamakhya darshan; Hiren ji accompanied us throughout and ensured a fulfilling experience. Ratan stayed in touch throughout the trip, constantly checking on us and offering wonderful recommendations for food and sightseeing. Thanks to him, we also enjoyed a stunning dinner cruise on the Brahmaputra River. Overall, this was truly the trip of a lifetime — filled with cherished memories and delightful moments. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team. We will definitely return to explore more of the North East with you!

We had an absolutely amazing trip with the ED team to Arunachal Pradesh. We were three women traveling together, and throughout the entire 6 days / 7 nights journey, we felt completely safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. The trip was exceptionally well organised, which made the entire experience smooth and truly enjoyable. A special mention to our driver Rahul bhai — he was outstanding. From navigating challenging mountain roads to guiding us patiently throughout the trip, he was extremely supportive, knowledgeable, and always made sure we were comfortable. His presence added so much confidence and ease to our journey. We also had guides Leiki and Sangey for two days, and they were incredibly warm and sweet. Thanks to them, we didn’t just experience the breathtaking natural beauty of Arunachal, but also got a deep and meaningful cultural insight, which was such a unique and enriching add-on to the trip. From airport pickup to airport drop, every little detail was thoughtfully managed by the ED team. The stays were exceptionally good, comfortable, and well chosen, adding greatly to the overall experience. Everything was seamless, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy every moment. My husband and I went on a 7–8 day trip to Meghalaya and Assam organized by Experience Destination, and it was an amazing experience. Right from planning, the team was extremely helpful and approachable. When flights to Meghalaya were expensive, Kamal from ED suggested flying to Guwahati, which made the trip possible and well-planned. They shared the plan every night for the next day, making everything smooth and stress-free. The local guides, especially Boi and Arki Rang, were fantastic and showed us beautiful offbeat places. A special highlight was a picnic with homemade local food, which felt very personal. From Cherrapunji, Shillong, Dawki to Guwahati, everything was perfectly organized.
