Man you will get all sorts of women wearables here, from mekhela to salwar, sari...(everything) and opposit to it is one of the biggest fruits market in Guwahati. Only problem is that the whole area has the worst traffic condition and man there is no parking space available. Whatever space is there for parking, its all occupied by the vendors and shopkeepers with their vehicles.

Congested market place at Fancy Bazar area in Guwahati city. Very crowded, heavily polluted with garbage, dust and spit on roads. Rates of merchandise are reasonble provided customets can bergain with the vendors, but not a comfortable market place.

You get good quality mekhela chador at first shop in the market, right side shop. Poddar handlooms. Superb collection and reasonable price! Must visit👍🏻

Very messy market place..but for ladies it's d best, you may get best collection of sarees..Avoid any vehicle for entering in a very peak time..you may end up getting jammed
