Really enjoyed my trip with White Winged Journeys! Dhritiman is a reliable and experienced guide who responds to your needs and interests. Travelled in Meghalaya and Assam with him. He goes out of his way to show you authentic places and introduce you to the local cultures and people via a great selection of accomodation and restaurants. A wildlife photographer at heart, he also knows where you might meet/see wild animals to take great photos - keeping safety in mind of course. Thanks a lot! Will always remember.

We had the most fabulous time at Kaziranga National Park earlier this month. Dhritiman from White Winged Journeys was extremely helpful with his insights, keen eye and recommendations. The combination of beautiful locations hidden gems in the north east which you will.not find with other travel setups, the hometsys & hotels selected were amazing incuding the food. I highly recommend White Winged Journeys for anyone seeking a well-planned and pampered travel experience. My friend and I, two women traveling to Meghalaya, had an incredible trip, thanks to their thoughtful attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly looked after, with every need anticipated. A special thanks to Trimon for the wonderful arrangement—he went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and safe, making our journey not just easy but memorable. We had an amazing and adventurous trip to Assam, Manas National Park! The combination of activities—like the tea garden walk, safari, and local cultural experiences and the peaceful environment of the Musa Jungle Resort was a fulfilling journey, something really unique and memorable. We had many standout wildlife sighting, and a very close encounter with a family of an Indian gaur! The unforgettable calming sounds of the river Beki…The entire trip left a lasting impression, especially with the mix of wildlife, local flavor, and the joy of slow-paced exploration ("Lahe lahe") of Assam and the unforgettable lovely food! A special thanks to our very dear friend(Trimon) and also his commendable knowledge about wildlife, culture & people. Thank you to the owners for their wonderful hospitality and the entire team especially the guides who took us for the safari!

We have been on two trips already with White Winged Journeys but are just getting down to writing a review. White Winged Journeys’ and Dhritiman’s biggest plus is their knowledge. That they have invested time and effort in getting to know the region they operate in, is really evident. Their understanding of what we were looking for – culture, wildlife and the people of the region – led them to tailor make itineraries for us. And each itinerary was a deep dive into getting to know and travel the region from the ground up. Dhritiman and his team were there for us through every step along the way and the organisational support was very good. The hotels were well thought out, the guides they have are very insightful and the experiences they suggested were great. As were the conversations in the evenings sitting around a blazing fire. We look forward to coming back.

In one word - FABULOUS place and Dhrthiman was more than a Host. We were a group of 10 and travelled to Manas with our parents and their friends. The entire holiday from the pickup at Guwahati airport to back was seamless and very memorable. Dhritiman is very passionate about wilderness and that made the entire holiday very special. He made sure that everyone was comfortable at all times and went beyond his duty to give all of us the best of times. Thank you Dhritiman and looking forward to the next this year.

We asked White Winged Journeys to curate a holiday for us in Meghalaya and Assam. With only three days for each state, we wanted to stay and absorb the topography, culture and food of the place rather than pack ‘maximum’ things to do. Dhritiman, the founder of White Winged Journeys, went out of his way to welcome us, accompany us and share his in-depth knowledge of the north east especially its wildlife. We went to Sohra (Cherrapunji) - a beautiful small place famous across the world for the highest rainfall in the world. What Sohra is a magical land of various water falls (some hidden), caves, treks and outstanding food. WWJ had really understood the pulse of what we were seeking and that is what we got. After Sohra, it was time to be in Kaziranga. Dhritiman had fixed accommodation at a village resort away from the hustle of the tourist crowds. He accompanied us for every safari and acted as our naturalist. With his immense knowledge and patience and love of the wildlife, it was a pleasure to be with him. The hosts welcomed us with an array of dishes showcasing local Assamese cuisine. It was a small little world created where everyone spoke to everyone. Thank you WWJ for this fantastic trip!
