I joined this driving school on 2nd February for a 21-day course, which included 6 days of simulator training and 10 days of on-road practice. The simulator training was very helpful. It built my initial confidence and gave me a clear understanding of steering control, braking, clutch and gear operation, and basic road situations before driving on real roads. One suggestion I would like to share is regarding the on-road practice. For beginners, it might be more comfortable if the first few days (3–4 days) are conducted in an open ground or low-traffic area. This would allow learners to properly understand braking sensitivity, clutch control, and left-side judgement without the pressure of traffic. In my case, I had to drive on the main road from the first day, which was a bit challenging as a beginner. A gradual transition could make the learning experience even better. The instructor (D. Adak) was supportive and answered my questions whenever I asked. His guidance was helpful during the learning process. One more suggestion is that the course currently does not include parking practice. Adding basic parking training, such as reverse parking and proper parking judgement, would make the course more complete and helpful for beginners. Overall, this course is good for learning the basics of driving and understanding car control. However, learners may still need additional practice after the course to gain full confidence before driving independently in all traffic situations. Thank you to the institute and instructor for their support and training.

I took admission at this driving school on 15-12-2025, and my classes started on 18 December 2025. I opted for a 21-day advanced driving course. The first 3 days were online classes, and honestly, they were good. They covered the basics of driving, safety rules, and general road awareness. The virtual trainer simulator sessions were also helpful and gave a decent idea of vehicle control before going on the road. After that, I had around 7 to 10 days of on-road training. This is where my experience became mixed. My first trainer was extremely rude and disrespectful. As a student, I was there to learn, not because I already knew how to drive. Instead of guiding properly, he behaved harshly and made the learning environment very uncomfortable. It felt like he expected me to be an expert already. Because of this, I requested a trainer change. The second trainer was much better. He was polite, patient, and actually focused on teaching. I learned properly from him, and my confidence improved because of his guidance. However, one major disappointment was that the school promised a demo and a practical test, which never happened. This felt unfair, as it was part of what I paid for. Because of that, I do feel that some of my money was wasted. Another important thing I want to mention is the reviews. Students are forced to write a review. They literally take your phone and show you how to write it. After experiencing this, I understand why this driving school has so many good ratings. It does not feel genuine. Overall, the driving school has good facilities, online classes, and simulators, but the quality of trainers is inconsistent. If you get a good trainer, your experience can be decent. If not, it can be very stressful. They also need to stop forcing reviews and be honest with what they promise to students.

My sister and I took driving classes here in October 2025. Beginners learn on a simulator first which is a great way of gaining familiarity with how a driver’s apparatus works, so when I sat on the driver’s seat in real to drive on the road, I felt at ease. As I wasn’t available in the mornings, I scheduled my classes at noon, but even on the busy Guwahati roads, with my instructor Amit beside me, it didn’t felt intimidating. He guided me well. The on-road classes are ~10 km long which I found to be the sweet spot to learn without getting overwhelmed. Manash who had taught me on the simulator was a great instructor too. In fact, all the staff members were highly professional. I would 10/10 recommend this driving school to anyone.

Check the reviews from newest and the ones with one star. Most of them are true as claimed. The ones where you see 5 to 4 stars are mainly from women/females. Instructors treat them very well. Otherwise, you are treated rudely. Almost all instructors are good with skills, but lack empathy. If you were to put them on an airplane, and tell them to learn how to fly it, they would lose their cool or give up immediately. You will learn little bit of driving, no doubt but the stress of having someone nag you and comment on your poor beginner's coordination skills is unwarranted. They don't teach left right judgement; you would have to figure that out yourself. Some will offer help after the course is over (for money ofcourse), I wonder if that's the reason they don't teach well. I even had a candidate riding with me who was not enrolled in the driving school. The instructor was cunningly picking her up on the way and dropping her on the way so that no one would know. They are more driven by personal gains than teaching you how to drive.

Took the 16 days driving class. First 6 days they taught in a simulator which was a great way to acquire knowledge regarding various operators of the car and to learn about signals and balance of the steering wheel. After the simulation training, on road sessions were conducted which was very well designed to face various kinds of challenges like traffic, plain roads and hilly roads. The instructors taught patiently and clearly which made me confident to drive in the busy streets of Guwahati. Thanks to Maruti suzuki driving school, Rajgarh, for offering such detailed course. Highly recommended.

The manager and driving instructor are extremely rude. While I was learning, a scooty hit the car from the back, and I paid compensation to the ‘aggrieved’ party, although I was only learning and the driving instructor was also there beside me with control to the brake and clutch. When I reported the matter to the manager, he was very rude to say the least. And regarding the instructor, I guess, he views himself as an Army drill major. We pay to go and learn there, not receive this kind of treatment. My advice to others is to just learn driving from your friends or relatives. You don’t learn much anyways with just a couple of hours’ on the road and that too on a car that is controlled by the instructor. Or even if you want to learn, at least don’t go to this institute. The manager who teaches the theory lessons also gives preferential treatment to women. The only good thing maybe is the lady who sits by the phone; she seems empathetic and kind compared to others.
