I purchased a car battery 2 years back on 7th August 2023 at Rs 7000, which started giving trouble since one month. Yesterday when battery didn't work I approached them. They said the battery needs to be replaced. When I told them it's still under warranty and I should get a free replacement,the owner said it's not under warranty and he can give me only 30% and I will have to pay Ra6000. I thought I should contact Exid battery office directly. They took the details of battery and told me it's still under warranty. As the warranty period is 36 months and they will give me free replacement. They visited today and found out that the battery is still working and under warranty. From the company personals I came to know that actual price of the battery is Rs5600 at today's date and was around Rs 4800 when I purchased. The behaviour of the owner is also very rude and erogant. Please don't go there , you sure will be cheated.

All the previous comments about the owner being rude & selling above actual price is very real. He will speak sweat & act fake when he thinks you as potential prospect. But the moment you say that his battery was defective, he will blame it on your car even though he never inspected my car, and that too it is a Toyota with no illness He hangs up the calls just like many people already reported, after you complain. When I looked at the old receipt, he even fooled my dad with unfair pricing. So, people who think they are getting a good deal are scammed. And yes, my battery showed bad symptoms within one year and had not done a single modification on a car which never gave troubles.

The owner is impolite and verbally abuses customers. He doesn't want to replace a battery when the company already gives it. He should learn some basic manners how to deal with customers.

I have purchased my car battery from this shop. They charged me ₹1000 extra. When I asked them why they charged me the extra amount, they were giving me stupid excuses. Later they turned rude. Kindly compare the rate once you visit or purchase from this shop.
