I recently visited Metro Hospital, Khanapara, for my father's treatment. The nursing staff is very polite and well-behaved, which we really appreciated. However, the experience at the reception could have been better as the staff there needs to be more professional and helpful. Overall, the medical care is good but the front desk management needs improvement.

Disappointing Experience at Guwahati Metro Hospital While the treating doctor appeared competent, my overall experience at Guwahati Metro Hospital was extremely unsatisfactory due to administrative delays and poor hospital management. Patients seem to be kept waiting unnecessarily for long periods, which raises serious concerns about billing practices—especially room charges. In my case, the discharge process alone took nearly six hours. Even after the treating doctor clearly told us in the morning that we could go home, the discharge was still delayed for hours because the resident doctor took excessive time preparing the discharge summary. This caused avoidable stress and inconvenience to both the patient and family. The hospital environment felt more commercial than patient-centric, with an apparent focus on selling services rather than prioritizing healthcare. Additionally, I accidentally left my wristwatch on the ultrasound bed. Despite informing the staff promptly, there was no serious attempt to search for or return it, which reflects poor accountability. Overall, this experience was disappointing and concerning. I sincerely hope the hospital administration reviews these issues and improves transparency, efficiency, and patient care.

Doctors and Nurses here; they are incredibly professional, well-trained, and provided my mother with excellent clinical care. However, the administrative side needs serious work. My mother's discharge was delayed from morning until evening purely due to slow TPA/insurance management. Additionally, the pharmacy department is inefficient-witnessed staff on personal phone calls while a line of customers waited for medicine. Great medical team, but the support services definitely need improvement

Everything is good. Doctors and staffs care is very good and treated us nicely. But the experience in the reception counter is little rude, would be more appreciated if they are cordial too in their approach. Thank you

As a guardian i found better in case of discipline, but behaviour of some employee is not too good. It is a private hospital, in private hospital their should be fast treatment, politeness, and discipline first. their is to say many things but......... That's why I give 4star out of 5.

I am a Radiology student from Assam down town University and have recently completed my course with good academic results. As part of my curriculum, I am required to undergo a 3-month internship at a reputed hospital. Yesterday, I visited Guwahati Metro Hospital to enquire about internship opportunities. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at the entrance. The security guard at the front gate did not allow me to enter or speak with the HR department. I tried to explain my purpose respectfully and requested several times to be allowed to speak with someone from HR, but his behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. Without even checking or allowing any proper communication, he simply told me there were no internship seats and dismissed me. I genuinely hope the hospital management takes note of how such unprofessional behavior at the entrance can negatively affect the image of an otherwise reputed institution. Students like us are only trying to gain experience and learn—we deserve at least basic courtesy and a chance to speak with the concerned department.
