Nice cafe cum restro. Cozy place to have lunch or dinner or even evening snacks. Good lighting, gives a warm effect to the interiors. But tables and chairs were a bit too low, for all people, disregard the height. Even though I'm tall, yet those were too low for a normal person as well. Food was good, but costly, on a higher side. Staff was okay. Interiors were quite good. We went to the rooftop one as well. And it seemed to be a warm, cozy and a sunny place to sit and relax and unwind with friends and family. We ordered Overall a recommended place, but need to look at the pricing perspective.

Most notorious Manager. Very untrained, rude & disrespectful manager.. We threw a birthday party & prebooked for the same but the restaurant wasn’t prepared for the event.. We waited for a long for the starters to get served & main course items were half cooked.. there were only two waiters serving 5 starters. Lately my aunts went to serve the guests. overall I will rate 0.. & upon complaining the manager shouted at us.

Worst service and hospitality ever in a 4 star hotel. The staffs were extremely unprofessional and the management deserves a negative star.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this place deserves it. Horrible service and awful food quality. They made us wait for a hour before the stater came in but even then the food was cold and half cooked. Kalita’s spectrum is a really good restaurant so Roots serving such an experience was completely disappointing. Wont visit ever again nor will i suggest to anyone else.

Terrible Service. I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at Roots on 28th of July, 2024. As someone who values good dining experiences, I was very dissatisfied with the level of service provided during my visit.The manager was very disrespectful. The waitstaff took an excessive amount of time to serve our preordered food. The service we experienced was not what I expected from a restaurant of your reputation. Not only was the staff inattentive, but the overall dining experience was far below the standard we had anticipated given that it was a party where the food was preordered days before. I believe that every customer deserves to be treated with respect and to receive timely and courteous service. I hope that you will address these issues with your team to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. It would be reassuring to know that your restaurant is taking steps to improve its service standards.

Never dine in here or never ever think of throwing any party here. The owner here is a big time fraud. The food quality is below par. Doesn't match the reputation of Shoolin Grand. Moreover my guest list was 70 pax. They charged me money for 83 pax. Later the next day when we calculated our guest list and asked the owner to check cctv footage as we were charged for 13 extra plates, she said she would look into the matter. But till date no information from her. Neither she returned our hard earned money.
