It's up to ur judgement what you get fresh or not !! Good / rotten... U must know to differentiate that & specially if ur getting chicken what is local or not...

Its one of the biggest fish market in Guwahati. Here,mutton,fish and chicken are available for sale.. The market is near Sports Authority Of India gate no.2.. The market is big and the people here are really kind and helpful. I found the fishes to be fresh here.I went to other fish markets as well but this fish market is better thn others.

Varieties of fruits are available, and a shop of almost everything, drawback is garbage, silt and the road was congested.

The one and only place where people get to buy fruits, veggies, fish and meat all together. You can even buy stuffs for puja also from the dasakarma outlets near the fruit market.

H A Dry fish & spice

I like the quality of fish and meat sold in this market. Price is also reasonable. Cleanliness is ofcourse an area of concern.

You'll find good mutton at akhtar's mutton shop.. But no local chicken as the market seems to be flooded with bland tasting fake local chicken

Needs to be clean and dry place. Stock is good but the place is dirty. Municipal authority should look into this issue.
