Vishal Mega Mart

I have bought all the basic necessities of my new house from here. Starting from bucket and mugs to a wide variety of stainless steel utensils. Everything can be found under the same roof. The products of first crop also are worth trying. I have had them before too but now I am buying again. The glass utensils here are so good starting from glass bottles and jars to shot glasses and beer glasses. You also get very good clothing at very cheap prices starting from 99/-

This places promises a great service. This places gives good discount on their product and it is an easy accessible places with the elevator working fine and let's not forget about the checking out at the counter, the people there are helping many people who didn't know about any offers, and this help many customers. I wish to visit more in the future.

Worst market. Shopping mall. Period. I have been to other Vishal never coming to this one in particular. Had a transaction problem. Instead of fixing it they asked us to pay extra and told us send the transaction ID later. But that was okay it happens. They made us wait so long we just wanted to get out and go home after work. They told us that the security will put the things in the bag. But later told us to put it ourselves. We were frustrated.

I recently visited the Vishal Mega Mart in Ganeshguri ,Guwahati and the experience was extremely disappointing. The store felt chaotic from the moment I walked in. Many of the items were scattered or placed in the wrong sections and the aisles looked messy and poorly maintained. Clothes were lying on the floor with no staff making an effort to organise them which gave the whole place a very neglected feel. The space itself is cramped and uncomfortable to move around in, especially when there are more customers. What made the visit even worse was the service. The staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful and after making the payment they did not even allow me to pack my own items at the counter. I had to carry everything to the exit gate and pack them there which was very inconvenient. Overall this was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in a retail store. I hope they improve their cleanliness and service because right now it is far from acceptable.

Mart is good but their staff are worst seems uneducated unlawful..they have no sense even.. they don't know how to behave with customer and how to handle them..they shout and says whatever they want disrespectful..I have shope there every month always faced some issues but today they are worst shameful..i really want to complain about the incident all the staff were very rude and unfaithful,,they have sense no class ,,i wo never go there again and others whome i knw i wl say them not to go there

Vishal is famous wherever they open their stores always crowded with people from rich to rags items available. From clothes to food to electronics all at one place.The only issue I faced at all Vishal marts is their billing counters . Cash counters are 5 to 6 but billing personnel are always 2 to 3 which needs to be changed.

This place tends to show one discounted price on the shelves and charge you the full price when billing. I have purchased here 3 times of which all 3 times there was some difference. The first time I picked 250 gms almonds at MRP of 299 but being advertised as 235 INR. The product was at the top floor, billing counter at the bottom. When billing they bad billed the MRP. When pointed out first they argued the price. When I insisted that this checked on the floor with the checker - they tried to run ahead and destroy the label. However I followed, manage to get the label before it was torn or thrown away. Got the manager, pointed out this. The manager tried to defend themselves stating there was an offer that was no longer applicable. However I was quickly able to also them about other products similarly discounted. Seeing there was no way out I was billed th discounted amount that day. Today, same product, same discount and same issue with billing. The billing guy was almost awaiting such occasional checks by customers it seems. Seeing my confidence he nonchalantly asked if I took a photo. In the meantime he checked the price and said it was 249 - still not the right price. I showed the photo of 235 to which he corrected eventually. Manager was not around when i asked. Seeing that I raised this issue with the floor and store manager last time and it still persists, it would lead to the conclusion that this is deliberate. Please verify bills each time.
